6/10 Okay

The room I had was tiny and a good 10 minute walk - to the basement- away from reception. I’ve stayed in this hotel many times, and although it’s a bit dated now, its always been a pleasant stay. It looked like they have converted either old offices or storage space into bedrooms. The room was just about ok for one person and the bathroom was decent enough but not sure they have done much with sound proofing as I could here next door quite loudly.
One of the attractions of the hotel is being able to use the pool and the gym, but that’s now chargeable (£7.50 for a day pass) The equipment in the gym was either not working, absent or really out of date.
Sorry to say but I’ll probably stay at the hotel opposite which is about the same price but with a nicer bar & restaurant.
