Staff were lovely and friendly and so helpful. Bed was not too comfy and bit noisy at night due to other customers. Breakfast was decent and included.

Good staff but poor overall

Staff excellent, only one lift working which caused delays. Our room was above a bar which kept us awake until 2am. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Our room door did not lock. Told no maintance on a weekend when reported. Man on reception looked stressed trying his best to deal with everything. Heard him On the phone begging staff to come in to cover sickness. Room Could have been cleaner. Breakfast not up to standard. No knives nor mugs and milk for teas.

No issues. Hotel was directly opposite the train station and central to everywhere on foot. Loads of pubs, restaurants nearby as well as the main shopping area a short walk away.

I loved this hotel, staff were great and the room was gorgeous, this is my hotel of choice now! Good choice for breakfast, coffee from machines isn't great though.Only downsides were only one lift was working, so often was confronted with squashing in with groups of men by myself or waiting, and the edges of the room were dusty and some mould on the grout at the bottom of the shower, some crumbs on desk from previous occupants. Loved the bouncers at the door keeping randomers out and you couldn't get better for the location.

The hotel was lovely staff were friendly only issues we found was the bed was uncomfortable and our bathroom had hairs in this was the only issue we had we really enjoyed our stay and we will be staying again just maybe try a different style room

Great location, but problems

Problems checking in. Room keys kept stopping working. Beds uncomfortable. Lifts broken. Cleaners slamming doors shakes the whole wall. Staff indifferent to any issues.
