Have stayed in better places in Newcastle but they cost more. Overall, and allowing for price, this a great hotel in a good location. My only real criticism is that the complimentary coffee is rank, but there is great coffee place around the corner (Sorcerer) so all good! :-)

Fantastic location close to bars town and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff are really friendly and helpful and make checking in a breeze plus our room was all ready for us even though we were really early. Great small apartment with a view over the River Tyne. Well equipped mini kitchen, excellent shower. Only drawback is lack of a spare blanket for people who feel cold. Heating system works well once you work it out.
