Booked at Oakes hotel with waterfalls view and they moved us to a different hotel without a waterfall view.Had no parking available on premises and had to park a couple blocks down the rd.Parking is not included in price.New hotel gave us a room where you had to slam the main door to get it to close.

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and had a great experience back then, so I decided to rebook it for my recent trip. The main reasons I chose this hotel were because I have a knee issue and needed something very close to the main attraction, and because I specifically wanted the view of the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. This time, I paid over $1,000 CAD for just two nights, expecting the same convenience and view I had before. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours before check-in, I received a call saying there was a “maintenance issue” and that my room was being moved to the Hilton. I asked about the distance since walking is difficult for me, and I was told it would only be a 5-minute walk instead of 2. I tried to be understanding, but my main concern the Canadian Falls view was repeatedly assured to me as well. When I arrived, however, my room only had a view of the American Falls, which was very disappointing. I felt misled, especially after confirming multiple times that the Canadian Falls view was the reason I booked. To make matters worse, I later walked by the original hotel and saw people still staying there, which makes me question whether it was really a maintenance issue or just overbooking. For the price I paid, this was absolutely not the service or experience I expected. It felt dishonest and inconsiderate, especially given my mobility challenges. I will not be staying here again.

Unfortunately a terrible decision

Transferred to Hilton from Oakes due to a plumbing issue..was told by Hilton before I arrived that my view I paid for would be accommodated with a view of Niagara Falls from my windows.. (see photos)…literally waited 40 minutes to check in due to no staff to accommodate check in guests…however your parking garage staff were amazing and incredibly helpful and polite when I told them I was a disabled Army veteran.. I will never utilize Hilton again!!!!

They moved us to a hilton that charged us additional 100 for falls view. This was not expected as our previous experience with Oaks was very good. The reason for moving us to hilton was basis a water problem. Booking oaks seeing low price was decieving
