A room with view! Located above the mouth of Deep Creek, and walking distance to the Kenai Fairgrounds. You will have beautiful views of Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Iliamna. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood within the heart of Ninilchik.

Horrible service. Zero communications. Home owners never contacted us for any reason -- no check in details provided. We were trying to find the place and had to call for check in instructions. But the phone # listed on email confirmation from Expedia was a WRONG number! The person who answered fortunately knew the home owner and gave us the correct # to call. If that person had not cared to assist us, we would have been screwed. This is unacceptable. And is fraudulently advertised -- "entire house" is stated on the ad, but is just a small space like a converted garage, attached to the main house where the owner lives. The property has junk everywhere; not realistic to access Deep Creek beach from the property due to a very steep hill having to be climbed. No decor in the house. No bed side tables for placing a cell phone. No bedroom curtain. No accessible outlets to plug in devices. Coffee machine void of water and nothing to fill it up with. Just 2 disposable small coffee cups provided but 100+ lids, which makes no sense. No view from the bedroom, is almost completely obscurred by brush. Only way to enjoy the view outside is by trespassing onto the home owners outdoor space -- you must walk into their yard, onto their patio and deck just to get to the bluff. one. Roosters noisy in the morning. At 2:30 am, their immediate next door neighbor was using a chainsaw. Next time we will stay a 3rd night in Homer instead. If just want a bed, this place will do.

Clean, affordable and pleasant with great communication from the owner. I had multiple flight delays and arrived late. My gps took me to the property next door so I was a little confused. I messaged the owner, and even though it was late, Ithey guided me to the property just fine.Thank you!Austin

Quiet stay with a view

This is was a quiet 2 room stay, with a great view. It’s bare bones (no kitchen/stove/hotplate/dishes) so plan to eat out. But it was a perfect retreat to come back to at night after a busy day of exploring.

When we arrived, NO ONE there. Made three returns before we found someone there. Instructions had been sent, via email. The only problem was that my email account had been put on hold for whatever reason. Noisy because this was a country location and there was a rooster that liked to crow anytime the sun was up, 4:00 AM to 11:30 PM at night!!!

Great!

This little apartment was really nice! Better than I expected. Nice king bed in the bedroom, nice pull out sofa in the living room. All bedding and pillows provided, as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels. Keurig style coffee pot with pods and tea. Dorm style refrigerator and microwave. A couple little dressers if you need to put your personal items away. Communication was great! Would definitely stay here again! Oh! And the view…wonderful!

This was an amazing rental located on the cliff side of deep creek recreation site with an amazing view of the ocean. Property was clean and perfect for what we needed. Door code and check in information was sent the day of check in so don’t worry about anything if you stay here! A+x10!
