Stayed here with my family when visiting Nottingham, really good hotel in lovely grounds. Games room and pool which kept us all entertained. Really friendly staff, we would definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and without any fuss. My only reservation was that some items on the breakfast menu were not replaced when they ran out, we had to ask several times for cutlery and the coffee machines were turned off early. This was our first stay at this hotel and was for one night. Next time we will probably stay for a weekend to take advantage of all the facilities and grounds.

There was hair which was not ours on the bedding and all over the carpet as this presented on the our socks. When we arrived there was no additional bed for our 2 boys. No snacks, these came later. It was evident that this room was not prepared for our check in. Such a disappointment and to add to this my husband had something land on his head whilst opening our room door( cover for the spring mechanism to every door) slipped whilst getting into the hot tub. The hotel needs some TLC.

Put at a room at the back rm175 even after 4 previous visits. Offered me 10% off drinks if they didn't clean my room for 3 days stay? Breakfast looked like it was yesterday's leftovers with mushrooms and sausages looking worse as the trip went on. Seems to have gone down hill so maybe Doubletree is better
