As usual, we were happy staying at Colon Plaza. The only thing that happened was that there was NO hot water in the shower. It had NEVER happened before. So I am sure it was due to the work being done in the hotel.

It took me 25 minutes to check into 3 rooms. When I walked up there was only one person ahead of me. This property has a restaurant on the lobby floor that has a buffet. The food is fabulous. The waitress was less than helpful. The locales knew the ins and outs of how to request items so we just did what they did. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor which they call the 1st floor🤔. On our second night, the live music was so loud I could hear the words of the songs not just the vibrations. The music was good but it didn’t finish until 1:15am. So I didn’t sleep well. The hotel is situated in front of a traffic light so traffic is heard until it slows down. The cleanliness of hotel was a three because it’s property cosmetic repairs. The maids were friendly, helpful with towels and working to clean the rooms.
