I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. It’s a sizeable room in a great location, but it missed the mark on many little things. Here’s a few…they charge 20 euros for a marginally early check in, they charge an extra 10 euros for use of the pool area (which is constantly filled with squealing kids), they only supply two, cheap coffee sachets which are not renewed during your stay, the air con is inconsistent, the water pressure is weak and the mini fridge was full of the previous guests’ leftover food. Not up to the standard of other similarly priced places in Germany.

Great Location if you want old town and staff was wonderful. The AC, if you like that sort of thing, pretty much non-existent. Parking also available which was a plus.

Check in: 10/10 excellent Bed: 10/10. Very good quality mattress Clean 10/10 Breakfast buffet 3/10 quality of scrambled eggs were like rubber. Selection not so good. Staff need knowledge of medical licenses service dogs. These are live saving dogs and they must be with the handler at all times. It is the by law in Germany that they must give you access. It is an embarrassment.

They have a really nice pool/sauna area in the basement; it felt like a grotto. Very close to the Altstadt and the Hbf. Would definitely stay here again!
