Very easy to get to from Amtrak station. Hotel is currently undergoing some renovations but staff at front desk were great. Our room was really nice. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing missing was a safe in the room.

Great room; very roomy for me and my wife and daughter. It was close to the events we needed to attend both for business and the family event. I would stay here again, since we make a number of trips to to visit family.

Clean rooms great staff

My stay was pretty good.Check in took 3 minutes. Staff was friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was coo. Only downside is there is renovation happening on the 5th floor and my partner went up for the Ice machine and she said it smelled pretty bad. But there is a Ice machine Available on the 9th floor so it was all good. Iam in Emeryville/Berkeley alot and I think this will be my new go to whenever Im there.

We were very impressed with our stay at the Hyatt House. We stayed in a King suite which had a living area and kitchenette. The room was well laid out and fairly spacious. The balcony was nice however it is much smaller than we expected and there is no patio furniture out there for you to sit on (nor would there be room for much if there were). Breakfast was decent, your typical hotel breakfast. The staff were really diligent with cleaning and making sure the food was always stocked up. The area itself is decent, we felt fairly safe walking around and we LOVED public market which was only a 2 mins walk and it had great dining options (highly recommend Super Duper Burgers and Pig In A Pickle). If we were to return to the Bay Area we would definitely consider staying at the Hyatt House again!
