Walled Garden Cottages sijaitsee syrjäisellä aurinkoisella kulmalla vanhan puutarhan puutarhan seinissä ja noin 500 metrin päässä Inner Villagesta. On 10 mews tyyli kahden makuuhuoneen mökkejä ja yksi kahden makuuhuoneen ensimmäisen kerroksen huoneisto (Walled Garden 11). Jokaisessa mökissä on näkymät kauniisti hoidettuihin puutarhoihin ja etelään, josta on näköala Loch Melfortille. Rakennuksen takaosaan on runsaasti pysäköintitiloja, joiden vieressä on parkkipaikka, joka sijaitsee välittömästi puutarhan porttien ulkopuolella. Rakennuksen keskustassa on pieni vapaa-alue, johon kuuluu sauna ja pelihuone, jossa on pöytätennistä ja snookeria - myös pieni pesula ja yhteinen pakastelu.

Pääsy Mews 11: een on rakennuksen takaosasta sisäänkäynnin yhteydessä, jossa portaat ovat ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Portaat johtavat käytävään, joka avautuu kevyeen, ilmava, avara olohuone, ruokailutila ja keittiö, kylpyhuone iso kylpyamme ja yli kylpyamme, tilava makuuhuone kylpyhuoneella (suihkukaappi, wc ja pese pesuallas) ja pieni kahden hengen makuuhuone. Walled Garden 11, joka on ensimmäisen kerroksen huoneisto, nauttii kaikista näkymistä kaikista Walled Garden -ominaisuuksista.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Kilmefordin kirkko. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja 2 kylpyhuonetta.

Beautiful location, great for dogs (actively encouraged), heating needs upgrading and perhaps decor.

Melfort Village is in a beautiful part of Scotland and for self caterers all supermarkets are available in Oban just 25 mins away. For Diamond Resorts customers it is the perfect place to holiday with your dogs as extensive and secure dogs play area on-site and many walks including a loch for swimming just 20 mins walk away. The walled garden is perhaps getting a little tatty round the edges due to its age but a coat of paint would soon bring this up to standard. Electricity needs to be paid extra and the night storage heaters are not efficient but these are the only down points.

Lovely relaxing holiday.

Had a lovely stay at Meltfort Village. The apartment was comfortable and clean and the scenery is stunning and the restaurant is amazing. The only thing was the heating/hot water was a mystery and we never had hot water long enough for everyone to get showered. But apart from that it was a great break away. I would definitely recommend

Second visit o this resort, but different unit

Melfort has a unique charm. The walled garden has units with terraces, all except this one, which is an upstairs flat with rear access from the parking area. That was a disappointment, and something not made clear by DAE when it was offered. It has the best view of the loch, though, which partly makes up for it. Quality comfy beds, and lovely bathrooms. Well equipped - you would never have to run out of essentials like loo rolls or dishwasher stuff [some resorts are very stingy on this]. No books or games though. Only two small criticisms: the kitchen/living room has no cooker hood or extractor, and low ceilings. Food smells are immediate as soon as you start cooking. The flat is above the laundry room, and the whole room vibrates when the spin drier below is in use. It's a bit disconcerting to feel it through the sofa at 11pm when you are relaxing. A shame that the bar/restaurant was on very restricted winter hours in the pre Easter week, which was mainly spring-like with glorious sunshine. The area is just stunning, Best in Scotland I think.

A great time away in beautiful surroundings

We stayed at No 11 Mews in the Wall Garden. We found it comfortable with everything we needed apart from a heater in the main bedroom but this was quickly responded to. The village was well kept and had everything you could need with a well kept swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, play park and Bistro and Bar with nice food and friendly staff. The entire staff were absolutely wonderful going the extra mile to make sure we had a lovely stay. Olwyn did a fantastic welcoming meeting on the Sunday with loads of suggestions of places to visit and things to do - she certainly enthused about the area and she was absolutely right to do so. Beautiful little villages and lovely coffee shops, and suggestions of places to eat out, boat trips - one of which we did on Monday afternoon with Duncan and we had blue sky and calm waters with just a hint of warmth in the sun and that was early March!! The entertainment in the Shower of Herring Bar on the Monday evening was extremely good and was very much enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Our third visit to Melfort

This was our third exchange into Melfort Village in the space of the last 12 months and we are booked to return in 2018. An excellent resort with friendly, responsive staff and superb facilities including a very good on-site restaurant. And when you add in the magnificent west coast scenery and the fact that Melfort is a dog-friendly resort this represents our idea of a perfect place to spend a holiday.

Comfort,warmth and calm.

We came to Melfort Village for a complete rest after a very hectic year.The property was warm and cosy . All the equipment was of a good standard. The beautiful view from the sitting room eased our souls as did the very peaceful atmosphere. The host meeting was friendly and the information given proved very useful as we explored the area.We made use of the on site restaurant on several evenings. And enjoyed our meals and the attention of the staff,who went out of their way to ensure out comfort..

Walled Garden No 11

Comfortable accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Everybody well catered for in this resort. Plenty of play areas for children, swimming pool, tennis, putting, swing park, etc. Near some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery. Oban is within reach and ferries can be taken to the West Coast Islands. Sea food in abundance as well as traditional Scottish food served in restaurants. Historic Scotland monuments and National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach. Helpful staff on reception.
