Big Red Barn offers you a unique combination of tranquility and closeness to Lisbon. Located in the heart of the countryside, it’s the perfect retreat for those wanting to escape the city and enjoy beautiful, peaceful landscapes without urban noise.



Set on a historic estate, this villa was converted from a former barn, giving it a special character. Surrounded by rural calm, the house is simple yet elegant, with all modern comforts. The furnished terrace overlooks a green garden, a water feature in the distance, and a pool on a lower level.



With about 350 m² over two floors, the property includes a spacious living room with fireplace opening to the terrace and garden, a dining area, and an open kitchen. There are 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms (3 are suites). Upstairs, you’ll find a 70 m² bedroom with open bathroom and a mezzanine lounge with TV and workspace.



The house is 10 km from the historic town of Óbidos, famous for its festivals like music events and a medieval fair. The nearby city of Caldas da Rainha has supermarkets, banks, hospitals, cinemas, farmers’ and seafood markets, parks, trails, excellent restaurants, and the renowned Bordallo Pinheiro factory.



Beautiful white-sand beaches such as Foz do Arelho, Lagoa de Óbidos, S. Martinho, Nazaré, and Peniche are all within easy reach.
