First things first - we would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect (far enough from the boardwalk to be out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the boardwalk to go visit and to have everything you need right next door). The room was nice, the hotel was super cute, and it being right on the beach was wonderful. The beach in that area was clean and not too packed (Labor Day weeken).
The only reason I knocked it down one star was because there were a few things that were listed as amenities that I had to ask the front desk for (body wash and pull out bed bedding). Also, the internet (another listed amenity) in room 305 was terrible. It wouldn't be that big of a deal except I did have some work I needed to do in our down time, and you have to have working internet to make the TV work (by either projecting your apps to it or using their "cable" service which apparently needs internet too). The internet was so bad Instagram wouldn't even load. I asked the front desk twice about it (and not in a rude or demanding way) and the second guy told me there was nothing he could do about it, but I (me, the guest) could go downstairs to the front desk and he would give me the number of the internet company to try and fix it myself...? That was pretty ridiculous. So if you need to do work or just need TV or internet for downtime, you may want to reconsider or plan to hang out at Starbucks.
