This property was okay at best, small as heck room, small bathroom, unpleasant staff except for the lovely lady who checked in. Was asked to be quiet during the middle of the day yet others were blasting music early in the morning and late at night and being loud late at night. The staff member we had an encounter with was a gentleman who was extremely rude and unpleasant they need to let him go.. location though was great. No breakfast and as the reviews say parking is tight if you have a bigger vehicle.

We liked that it was right along the boardwalk. It was not the factious place along the boardwalk but the room had the essentials. We wish it would have had a continental breakfast for all the guests. The best part we liked was the price. The price and the location will bring us back again soon.

Never will go back

I don’t leave reviews at all. So for me to write a bad one is unheard of. I asked for a late check out and was only given u til 11am… regular check out is 10am. The place is so outdated down to the fire alarms. As my daughter and I were packing up to get ready to leave someone bangs on our door at 10:56am Asking us if we are almost done, to which we replied yes and closed the door. The owner (i’m pretty sure) was a male standing outside our door waiting for us to leave. As soon we left we went to go get breakfast on the board walk; I ran back to the car to grab the beach supplies and he followed me out to my car and asked if I was in the room that just checked out to which I replied, “yes”. He then replies that I have until 12:45pm to move my car. Mind you there was no business and plenty of parking spots (which should’ve been a red flag). He looked at me like I was little and stupid when I replied that it doesn’t say when I have to leave off the parking lot. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the OC area and none of them besides this place has said that I have to be off the parking lot when checking out. I would never go back!!

A cute little hotel located right on the boardwalk. Efficiency room was perfect for my one night stay alone. Very quiet. Bakery located on site and you walk out the door and you are on the beach.

This hotel was worth the extra coinage per night. It was very affordable. It's in the area of 9th Street right on the boardwalk. This saves you from having to find parking before hitting the beach or the boardwalk. The rooms were clean. The bed, it wasn't to bad. The room came with a kitchen area, mini fridge, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, oven/stove, sink plus the cabinets had plates and cookware. Plenty of lighting inside the room. Nice size TV for when you want to kick back at night. It was also a nice old fashion hotel style. They used these things called keys for room access, no key cards. I stayed in the room called Willet. For being right on the boardwalk, the rooms were quiet. My only complaint is the parking lot for this hotel. The parking spots are tight. Do not take a large vehicle. I am skinny and I had trouble getting in and out of my vehicle due to vehicles in the spots next to me. You can guarantee I will be using this hotel for future vacations.

Staff was excellent! Apartment was very clean and came with everything you need. Dishes, pans, cups, utensils, ect. Gas stove, oven, microwave, and fridge. Room was spaced to fit us well. Walked right out front door to beach and back door to parking lot.

Check in was smooth (booked online through Orbitz in advance). This hotel is perfect for families and older/mature guests (no partying). My room was on 2nd flr. I enjoyed the armchairs at end of hallway facing the windows (boardwalk and beach view). I also spent time on 3rd flr balcony with the rocking chairs enjoying both the morning sunrise, boardwalk/ocean view and sound of the waves. This hotel is right on the boardwalk. Lots of people walking/jogging and felt very safe even at nightime (in morning up to noon, many ride various cycles). Lots of surrounding shops/restaurants as location is in the middle of everything. My room had a fully furnished kitchenette including toaster, coffee maker, etc. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fully furnished with bar soaps, liquid soap and shampoos/conditioners. Excellent quality thick towels. I only needed daily replacement towel service and the staff knocked between 10am and 11am. The window A/C was blowing cold air at 64 degrees upon check in, which was too cold for me, so initially bumped upto 70, then 75 a day later. The carpet was initially damp, but once A/C was 75, then the carpet dried up. Downstairs lobby is partially leased to Love's Bagels (they sell cheesecakes, bagels, bagel sandwiches, muffins, smoothies, coffee and coffee drinks). Bagels are very fresh as advertised. Hotel WiFi signal and Verizon cell phone signal was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again.

When we checked in we thought there was an issue with the air conditioner So Brian moved us to an apartment!!!!! It was so much larger, had a living room, kitchen area, separate bedroom which was very cozy. I’m so thankful to Brian and also Lisa ! They have wonderful staff here.
