This cozy and quaint cottage is the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway, while still being within easy reach of all the exciting attractions and activities the area has to offer.

Our home is located right off Government St in downtown Ocean Springs, so your favorite shops and restaurants are just walking away.

The beach is 1.5miles away.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a bright and inviting living space, beautifully furnished with comfortable seating (sleeper sofa!), a dining table, and a full kitchen complete with all the modern amenities you need to cook up simple delicious meals during your stay. Cottage was much smaller than anticipated from pictures, check the square footage before booking. Property was noisy, bar next door was loud most nights until 4am, work trucks directly behind cottage cranked up between 6:30-7:00 am, and train tracks bordering the property are very busy. Golf cart was nice but can’t get too far as battery does not hold a charge. Host offered to move us to a different property at double the price, adjacent to same busy train tracks. Porch was very peaceful to sit and relax or read during daylight hours. Cottage was clean and convenient to downtown and beach.

When we arrived, we cannot help but notice that the whole vibe of the place was like your own tiny home. We were skeptical of using the golf cart at first, but realized on our first full day that it gives you so many more options for exploring all of ocean Springs. The living room/kitchen set up was perfect for us to unwind in the mornings with our coffee, but we also have the option of a beautiful front porch. The water pressure, the temperature of the water, and all of the linens provided were abundant and clean. 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend if I wasn’t the kind of person that wanted to keep Ocean Springs a secret.P.S.Check out the funky little dive bar next-door. You will not be disappointed.

The stay at our Government cottage went well. Despite several bugs within the house and receiving checkin info 2 hours before posted checkin time, the house was centrally located in downtown OS. Golf cart was an added perk which our family loved.

Was clean and located close to main strip and beach area. Bed was lumpy and old and sofa bed was worn out. Located next to a dive biker bar that is open with loud music til 3 am During the day it was quiet and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

the cottage was precious and plenty of room for two people. The golf cart was a great addition as we never had to move our car once we arrived to the property. Owners were easy to work with and communicated great. We will be booking another stay here soon!

Host was good at passing on the info needed. There were no unwelcome surprises. Everything that we needed was there and clean. There is one minor thing that needs attention, that is one of the chairs at the table is quit unstable and needs to be addressed. We would gladly stay with y"all again.
