Cozy Cottage At Lake Weir

Our charming 2 bed 1 bath home is nestled in a quaint town right next to the lake! Enjoy the refreshing lake breeze and beautiful sunsets from Lake Weir. Centrally located near Belleview &The Villages, this unique home offers easy access to nature with the Ocala National Forest nearby. The Boat Ramp is approximately 4 miles away, providing quick access to Lake Weir for your boating adventures.
You’ll have access to the lake for some fun during the day, and a dockside bar & grill just steps away!

Enjoy the outdoors with a grill, outdoor seating, and outdoor play items. Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a pack & play, Bumbo seat, and extra linens.

The bathroom includes a stand-up shower, baby bath seat available.
Pets are welcome with host approval ($99 per pet).

Please note: smoking is allowed outdoors only.

Gator Joe’s Beach Bar & Grill lake access:

This is a short summary of the new policies announced on their Facebook page. As far as we know this is ONLY for the summer months

New Summer 2025 Policies:
• Hours: Beach access is open daily from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Weekend Access Fee: It is still free on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is now a per-person access fee for the beach (not the restaurant). Wristbands are required and must be paid for in cash only.
• Picnic Table Rentals: Available for $20, includes 4 beach wristbands. (They did not say exactly what the per person wristbands would cost in their post, but judging by the table rental cost including 4 wristbands, I would assume it’s around $5 per person. I am not positive of this though.)
• Tents are no longer permitted on the beach to help optimize space.
• Food and beverage service is available directly to rented picnic tables and nearby guests on the beach.

To keep things running smoothly (and stress-free for everyone), please take a moment to read through these important house rules. They’re simple and help make sure your stay, and the next guests, is fantastic!



✅ The Basics
• 🚭 No smoking inside the house, please.
• 🐾 No pets unless we gave you the OK ahead of time and you’ve paid the pet fee. (80$ per pet). If you pet damages any property or requires extensive cleaning, you will be responsible for those charges.
• 🔇 Keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM, Specifically outside noise.
• ⏰ Please adhere to check-in/check-out times (unless we’ve agreed otherwise)
• 💙 Treat the home like it’s your best friend’s place—kindly and with care.



⭐️Some Extra Things to Know

• 🧼 Major messes = extra cleaning fees dependent on the mess. Please leave things reasonably tidy.
• 🛏️ Towels and sheets that end up excessively stained will need to be replaced, that will also be your responsibility.
• 👎🏼 No extra guests without prior approval. Only the people listed on the reservation are allowed at the house. Day visitors will be a 25$ per person fee. Overnight visitors will be 50$.
• 🚗 No parking on the grass unless you’ve asked us first or your group requires it.
• 🅿️ Park in the driveway in front of the garage.
• 🎉 No parties. No events.
• 🏘️ Be neighborly. Keep noise down and vibes good.
•Tampering with outdoor cameras or Wi-Fi equipment is strictly prohibited. These systems are in place for security and connectivity. Any interference may result in immediate cancellation of your stay and will be reported to VRBO. There is a ring doorbell located by the front door that is solely for guest services. If you need me right away, ring it! The second camera is near the garage and we use it mostly to make sure Gator Joes patrons are not parking on the lawn, as they have in the past.

Breaking the rules may result in fees, an early end to your stay, or getting reported to VRBO. Thanks for helping us keep this a clean, cozy, and respectful space. If you have any questions or need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out.
