This hotel still had that "new hotel" smell, despite being open for a year. It seemed like it opened the week before- it was that clean and fresh. The breakfast was great. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The location was great. And the beds were super comfy.

This was an excellent place to stopover. Cute town, fun historic places to go, good food. Only issue was the pool area did not look like it had been picked up or cleaned recently. Otherwise, everything was nice.

Friendly service with a quick check in. The hotel is new and modern. They have a small pool on site as well as an adequate gym. The free provided breakfast was a great addition. The rooms were a little bit on the small side, but were very clean and modern. Air conditioning worked great. Beds were comfortable. Lots of outlets and plug ins. Minimal noise from the hallways and neighboring rooms. Our room was never cleaned, but I believe they were short on housekeeping staff. I was able to get fresh towels and toilet paper through the front desk. There are several fast food options, gas stations and a Walmart within a two minute walk, however, the overall area is limited in activities. Most of the food options nearby are mediocre in terms of quality. We stayed here for some time at Lake McConaughy, which is about a 20 minute drive.

A few hiccups but very nice hotel overall

The first room assigned to us was the wrong room. It was soon fixed once I noticed that I couldn't get onto the wifi and the welcome sign on the TV was not in my name. No apology just come get your new room key from reception. We were grateful to book in earlier than 3pm though, it was raining so it was nice to get into our room earlier The next morning's breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as very few healthy food options. The tables were dirty and no staff seen to be looking after the room. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Noisy overnight but it was 4th July so... I didn't think it was value for money really.
