Great and convenient stay

Great and affordable hotel with kind staff that does their best even with limited English. The room was simple but clean and comfortable with a nice view of the city. I also appreciated the reading material left in the room, great selection of local information, entertainment and religious texts for various kind of travelers. Also nice and close to Oita Station which makes it very convenient. Would definitely stay here again if given the chance.

Everything was poor. For Japanese standar I felt like staff was tired or not happy doing their job. Checking time was 4 P.M. while in other hotels was 3 P.M. I arrived at 3:10 and they did not let me in. A lady was going to give the key but a young man told her that was not the time for checking in. I saw other people registering before 4 and letting them in, so I felt disappointed. The room was very small.
