This is a perfect combination of value, a great host, location and property. Who should stay here: Small to Medium-sized families who want to visit campus, go to a game and experience the campus life around downtown Norman. The property is an easy 15 minute walk to all the Main St. spots, or Campus Corner/North Oval in the other direction. Equally easy 25 minute walk to the gates of the football stadium. It's also JUST outside the ring of parking and people madness so you won't return home to someone parked on your lawn, but you'll beat everyone home who drove a car to the game. There are sidewalks to everywhere you want to go by foot. The property itself is quintessential Norman; an old home that's been well-maintained and updated bit-by-bit over time. New beds, fresh paint, washer & dryer, beautiful floors and spacious living areas await you. During our stay, there were newer fridge, range and microwave, but no dishwasher yet. For us, that was no big deal, but is a good example of what you're getting. If you lived near campus at any point from between 1980-2010, you know exactly what you're getting here and you'll love every second you spend in this home.Who should not stay here: Folks with mobility issues or ADA needs. As listed, the home was built in 1935 and is not really designed for folks who need a wheelchair. Also if you're simply mega picky about having a brand new property, move on and pay 3x the price.
