John welcomed us and showed us the room. He was friendly and seemed proud of his Motel. The room was spotless, well organized and well stocked with plates, cups, etc. We felt comfortable and slept well.

The room I stayed at is updated and doesn’t feel like a motel. Clean and roomy. I appreciate that it has a full size fridge and kitchen. Walking distance to the downtown strip should you wish to grab groceries or dine out. Also, it is only 9 minites away from the District Wine Village. I may stay here again.

Most roadside motels are in it only for money, we could tell the private owner in this case took pride in the business, it was neat, clean and improvements to the building were recently completed or underway. The room was excellent and provided new modern amenities to tailer to todays traveler. Overall an above average stay for us, the owner did a great job with the renovations and we thank him for bringing the historic motel back to its original glory or better!

This jewel never fails to impress. Hot day and into our cool room. Outside is set up a bistro table in And chairs in shade to relax, listen to birds, have a drink. Most comfortable beds. Extremely clean and totally remodeled.

We have no complaints the beds were comfy and the room was clean. The only thing I would change is the Toilet Paper, it was so thin you could read through it.
