In Olsberg, you’ll find two apartments with 120 m² of living space in a historic 18th-century forester’s house at Schloss Schellenstein, spread over two levels. Each unit accommodates up to 6 guests and features 2 bedrooms, a living/sleeping area, and 2 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchens let you prepare your own meals. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a smart TV, ski storage, and mountain views. Final cleaning includes bed linen and towels.



The Forsthaus is located in Olsberg in the Hochsauerland region—an ideal base for nature lovers, peace seekers, and fans of scenic trails. Perfect for groups of friends, couples, families, or anyone wanting a break in nature.



Starting January 2026, you can book guided gourmet hikes on weekends for exclusive small groups of 4 to 6 people—no strangers, tailored to your pace and wishes, and without time pressure. Route length is flexible, with the option to stop at local restaurants. Food and drinks are not included. Participation is at your own risk. If the guide is unavailable, no replacement is provided, but you may hike independently. Plenty of hiking maps are available.



Recommended weekend: arrive Friday from 3 pm, guided hike on Saturday (e.g., Kneipp Trail), depart Sunday by 11 am.



For your convenience, two parking spaces belonging to the apartments are just 50 m away; additional cars may park on the street. Please note: events are not allowed on the property to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
