For example, visit the town of Frederiksværk, which is known for the idyllic canal that runs through the town, or the city of Roskilde, with its Viking museum and cathedral. Furthermore, you can also plan a trip to Jægerspris Castle, with beautiful parkland, which is located on the other side of the fjord. If you feel like an interesting day trip, Hillerød is less than half an hour away, where you can admire Frederiksborg Castle, the largest Renaissance castle in Northern Europe. The house is located just a few meters from the family-friendly Roskilde Fjord, whose shallow waters contribute to a carefree vacation with your family.
