Management had the opportunity to assist and failed miserably. I’ve been to many iberostars and was disappointed with the managers here. Expedia was lacking as well. Too bad because it’s a nice property and friendly staff.

Not a 5 star. They should have held off opening or at least offer half of rooms. Only 2 restaurants open out of 4 1 restaurant was closed 1 night no restaurants should ever be closed at a resort. Got woken up ar 4:00 a.m. every single day the workers were in the pool area and had no consideration of the time playing music yelling at each other. The elevator had such a bad oder of sewage they shut it down several times. Spa was not spa like at all no music not water features massage hurt and wasn't relaxing. Ceilings had water stains, fire alarms went off constantly. Not an adult only as stated when i was looking at check in i mentioned this and they said not yet but no children allowed at the infinity pool 3 day's later children at rhe infinity pool whn i spoke to a manager about that she basically brushed it off. I ordered a coffee and got up to pay the kid that was working the coffee shop left to tend to the bar and i had to wait 30 minutes for him to come back so i could pay (most people would have left without paying). Most days construction and repairs were going on and made it not very relaxing. One of the bartenders and waitress at the pool bar charged us for 3 drinks and only ordered 1 i brought it to a managers attention she made excuses for it and changed the amount ummm how about comp it and make up for the sceaming. Most staff was wonderful but they need to weed out the bad otherwise vacationers will be getting overcharged and overlooked.

This property has everything you need for an amazing getaway in Aruba. Located on Eagle Beach, it’s not too busy. There’s tons of beach chairs provided by the hotel and the staff on the beach make you feel safe leaving your belongings there while you go in the water. I’d recommend exploring restaurants close by and on Palm Beach as there’s tons of options. The food options at this resort were also incredible. We will definitely be back!!

I booked JOIA Iberostar because I just fell in love with the beautiful pictures online and the amazing reviews. We were immediately warmly greeted by the staff in the lobby and assisted to our rooms with a thorough tour and walk through. The room was beautiful and so was our private pool. My partner and I spent the first day on the resort and in our room. By the next day, we were ready to start our day. We were playing music from our handheld speaker at exactly 1pm when we met with some knocks on our door, followed by security telling us that there was a music complaint. We had to turn our music off at 1pm. We did so politely and continued on with our day. The very next day we were met with knocks on our door yet again. This time, it was a complaint for marijuana which we did not have or use. We let them search our room immediately and they found nothing. Being that we were one of the only black people on the resort, it was starting to feeling like discrimination and racism. We made a complaint to management and was told that we would be accommodated and would receive complimentary. We were not accommodated nor received anything for the harassment. We also paid cash on many occasions and they still charged it to my room. We ended up spending way more money than was needed and no one reported the cash transactions. The food was absolutely terrible. They were terribly understaffed. I waited 10 minutes for ketchup, and my burger was COLD. I would never come back to this resort.

Brand new property still in ramping up state but with extremely courteous and efficient staff. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Excellent food served at both restaurants. Great buffet breakfast too

Beautiful!

Beautiful hotel, staff was amazing and the rooms were spacious and had everything you could think of. The only recommendation would be better coffee pods in the rooms. They had anawesome coffee cafe at the hotel so that helped.

Brand new resort still under construction, but the open areas were impeccable. Our room was beautiful with a great view of ocean over Eagle Beach. Staff was very friendly and always professional. This is a great property but still under construction and some service issues to work through. Friendly staff but seemed unsure of what they should be doing. Some construction noise in the middle of the night as well as random fire alarms in the middle of the night. Beautiful resort and great location. Hot tubs by the pools weren’t working and the hot water in the room would get really hot randomly…hot water issues.

Truly the best hotel I’ve stayed on any island! Aruba knows how to do it when it comes to this hotel. Although it is 4-5 months old it is extremely beautiful. The staff are ALL super friendly and catering to our needs. The walking distance to the beach with their services on the beach is exquisite. Cleanliness is 10/10. The hot tub on the balcony with the view of the ocean is 10/10 experience. Their spa is gorgeous! Their buffet is 10/10. Just wow. I will be staying here for my next visit!
