Not friendly like other hotels in Japan

Hotel staff in Japan are usually so sweet. The staff at this hotel seemed short and rude. I arrived shortly before my check in time (like 45 mins) and went to the front desk with my luggage. The lady quickly said “it’s at 3pm.” No hello. No nothing. I walked away…uncomfortable…then remembered I needed to leave my luggage at the check in (I filled out a form before hand and got a QR code for her to scan). She was very short and not very welcoming. Room was also tiny. Elevators were always busy and it would take 15 mins to get an elevator. Staff never said hello when I entered or left.

Ok. No complaints, no highlights.

No roomcleaning just new towels, was ok. However information ragarding how to get rid of wst was unclear. We didnt understood how to do until last day when we saw how the room next to us did. And in Japan you tend to bring a lot of waste home after a day... Onsen nice and clean. We didnt try the pool as it seemed not worth the money or the trouble for just the one hour allowed. Staff ok. Ok hotel. No real complaints but no real highligts either.

The overall experience was very pleasant. Room are small bur cozy, room cleaning service was once every 3 days, the stuff was friendly and caring. I haighly recommend this hotel, especially for the price and location. The 7 Eleven store is right near the hotel, the subway station is right outside the hotel, you can arrive at Expo very quick.

The ZipAir of hotels

This hotel is mostly for couples that just use the room to crash at the end of the night. Come in, sleep and then wake up and leave. The rooms are extra smaller than normal japan rooms and they even charge 1500 Yen per hour per person to swim in the pool whicj is the size of 2 american shower tubs. Almost feels like a hostel with private shower. Definitely not for families.
