It was too crowded- we were packed up like sardines: uncomfortable. The bath experience was uncomfortable- mom yelling at her children: this is supposed to be quiet, serene area. I had to go downstairs whenever I needed anything because reception never picked up phone!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The building is in the middle of everything: walking distance to an inside mall which has tons of things to buy and restaurants to eat! In front of the hotel there are so many brand name stores which you can buy lots of brand stuff with a reasonable price. The hotel, however, does not have the grand view as expected for a five star hotel. However, the rooms are clean and accommodating for our large family such as ourselves. I would like to have a sweet for our family, but there is none. The staff are friendly, room service is excellent.

The spa takes the top spot. This was my second stay at the hotel. It has some idiosyncrasies: eg the reusable slippers. Cheap hotels in Japan have reusable slippers - it does not work well. Another idiosyncrasy - one cannot turn off automatic light in the bathroom. So be prepared for a strong flash of light if you have to use the bathroom at night. But other than that, the staff is proficient in english, very courteous and the hotel has great views and spa that can't be beat!!! Will come again!!!

Expand check in counter. Paid for stay as we checked in Transfer of luggage to forwarding hotel to early 10 am is way to early. Furniture too low for persons who have bend low with bad knees and back pain. Furniture not suitable for Western travellers. Laundry service would be better, instead of coin operated laundry machines. Had to call front desk to get machines to unloaded, guest washed clothes were left searing in machines. Also, table to fold clothes after being washed.

Great location, nice views from our room. Disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement re. Cleaning service, which must be communicated with the staff by 8am if you require clean cups. We had to chase the reception team to get us clean cups and mugs, as well as one towel provided even if we used the spa upstairs. We had to walk around the hotel with dirty towels to ask the reception to swap it for clean ones. I’d expect more for a 4-star hotel.
