Dotonbori stay

Well kept hotel very close to the Dotonbori. The room was a good size. The spa was relaxing and well maintained.

Good location, very close to Dotonbori Street, nice lobby, walkable to everything. My only concern is that the room is so small; they don’t have a closet. It's really a small room, and we can’t keep our luggage open wide, or else there’s no more space to walk. We got the Executive Twin Room with Sofa Bed, Non Smoking.

The hotel was really nice, the staff great. The streets around the hotel not so much. Typical tourist trap, questionable bars and establishments for adults. Drunk people walking. Very dirty. Tourists have really ruined this area. If you are bringing small kids or teens, I don't recommend this area.

While our room was minimalist in design, it was impeccably clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What stood out most were the exceptional amenities. From the luxurious rooftop sky spa and onsen to the high-quality toiletries, robes, and in-room conveniences, every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance the guest experience. The serene atmosphere of the onsen, especially in the evening, provided the perfect way to unwind after a busy day exploring Osaka. The location was also a huge plus—conveniently situated near public transport, restaurants, and shopping, yet quiet enough to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The staff were courteous, professional, and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. For a short stay, Candeo Hotels Osaka delivered everything we could have hoped for: comfort, cleanliness, great amenities, and a touch of relaxation with its beautiful spa. Great location, walking distance to public transportation and Dotonbori. For a family with grown children, have to split into two rooms, double and triple, which worked out quite well. Rooms are clean, small, and with basic amenities. Will go back to try their breakfast buffet and use the bath next time.

Candeo is nice and close to Dotonburi. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was good and had all necessities. It is very convenient with self-laundry service, vending machines, and the onsen all on then top floor!

Not sure if I am biased. The Kyoto hotels that we stayed were better than this hotel in Osaka. Breakfast quality wise, it’s average. I guess maybe the hotel had so many guests that the overall experience became less relaxed. It’s possible that it’s due to over tourism.

Hallways Carpet Needs Shampooing.It’s very Dirty.

While the front desk staff was polite, these basic cleanliness issues are unacceptable. The hallways are so dirty, it needs carpet shampooing. The hope is that the hotel takes steps to improve its housekeeping procedures.
