We had higher expectation from our experience at the hotel a year ago. I cannot put finger on a specific problem, but overall quality of services went down this time. The place is not a special place for us anymore.

Positive: Overall hotel was located convenient easy walk to Shin Osaka station (6-10mins depending on your speed), with a Lawton’s and a couple of yakitori restaurants next door. While small the room did have a seperate toilet which was great. Negative: The non smoking room had definately had someone either smoke in it previously or the air purifier was used in a smoking room. Unbearable.

Karaksa hotel is the one I am looking for when stay in Tokyo or Osaka or Shin-Osaka. Spacious room, well design. Separation of toilet & bathroom is a plus. Buffet breakfast has may choices and fit my taste. Few minutes walk to main train/metro is a good choice to anyone prefer public transportation.
