Overall, good hotel if you are on a budget. Hotel is clean. Staff is helpful. And even though we did not do it, but their breakfast buffet looked pretty decent. Location is close to Glico Man, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi Namba and Americamura. All walking distance. Great for first timers to Osaka and you wanna be near the action. Plus there is a Family Mart less than 50 yards away. Hotel is clean. Staff is helpful. But the rooms are small. We are a party of three and it was TIGHT in there. My suggestion, do what you do on cruise ships and store your suitecase under bed. Otherwise there is almost zero room to maneuver. Again, for the budget traveler, this is a great option and should be seriously considered. But if you are looking for a hotel with a lot of amenities, you won't find it here.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. English level is considered to be average. Breakfast does not match western taste i.e. too many traditional dishes vs. regular ones. The free hot and cold drinks as well as the candies bar are very nice.

Poor Value – Cramped Room, Great Area

The room cost over HKD 2,000 per night, likely due to the Osaka Expo, but it was far from worth the price. The room was poorly designed — the window couldn’t be opened and let in almost no natural light. Despite having a ventilation system, the room still felt stuffy and cramped. Cleanliness was below expectations, with visible dust on surfaces. That said, the location is excellent — very close to Shinsaibashi with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly as well. However, aside from the location and staff, the overall experience did not meet expectations, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

O hotel oferece boas amenidades e possui um bom cafe da manhã. O atendimento não é bom. Funcionários frios, não sabem falar inglês e não se esforçam para entender a necessidade do cliente. O hotel não faz o serviço de envio das malas para o destino seguinte. Mandaram eu ir em uma kombini ou entrar em contato eu mesma com a empresa. A empresa não aceita pedido de pessoas físicas, somente dos hotéis. O atendente gentil da empresa de transporte se surpreendeu do hotel não fazer este serviço, foi super prestativo e resolveu tudo o que o hotel deveria ter feito.

Great location and staff were amazing. Reason for our low rating was due to air conditioner not working well in the room (we didn't complain as we knew the hotel was booked out), cleaning of the rooms during service was mixed and both myself and my partner got rashes likely from bed bugs or something (we we realised our our last day).

For a 3 star hotel it’s ok. I wish the hotel conditions were better. There was nowhere to hang your bath towels in the bathroom. The bathroom walls were stained and the wall paper was coming off. The toilet paper was the thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Dotonbori and tons of great shopping and dining options. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The Welcome drinks and snack was a highlight for our kiddo coming home to the hotel every day. Great location, clean rooms and our king bedroom was really spacious (was scared hearing stories of how small rooms are in Japan). amenities bar was great as well.... We really didn't need to bring anything!

Great location to explore Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Hotel very unique to provide unlimited sodas, coffee, and snacks for children and adults. Granddaughter was spoiled with the snacks and wanted to stay at more karaska hotels during our Japan vacation. Lots of food and shopping nearby with convenient access to multiple subway and train stations.

Great location, nicely spacious!

I traveled with a group of 6 people with 4 different rooms - this hotel was perfect for us! Less than 10mins away to everything in Dotonburi and Amerikamura, with excellent food right around the corner! I recommend the yakiniku restaurant Don Don for a tasty and fun dinner. The hotel itself was everything you'd need and easily accessible - the rooms were larger than most and were the perfect space for us to unpack and repack all of our things for our next flight out. The endless snacks and drinks in the lobby were also a nice perk, and while breakfast had a nice selection it wasn't particularly amazing so if looking to save on money I'd recommend skipping paying for it. If you plan to use the Airport Limousine Bus, we took the one to Itami which was only a 10mins walk away. Would definitely stay here again!
