Perfect location for Universal right by the shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and room was a perfect size for 4 people. We also had a fantastic view out the window. We enjoyed the breakfast and the free food and drinks in the welcome lounge in the afternoon. Would recommend.

Beautiful hotel and room. The front desk staff was particularly helpful when helping me with a local phone call. They were patient and courteous. The lounge has free hot dogs and gelato 530-9. This is lovely. They also offer free waffles/pancakes, ice cream, drinks, coffee, macarons, etc., from 2-9 pm. Again, this is very very nice. The room was very large and very comfortable for Japan standards. We had a very lovely stay here. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we have a couple negative experiences during our stay. First night room was no ventilation, humidifier not functional thermostat was not working room was super warm. We informed the front desk about the situation, they provided us a couple fan to circulate the room. We open the windows all night to get some air in the room, HOWEVER, we end up mosquito bites the following day. Day 2, staff are able to move us to different room Excellent”.

If you’re booking this hotel you know what you’re looking for as it is in the Universal City Walk. It’s a great location but with other hotels also in the area you are not saving yourself any time for the crowds. I rated the breakfast low because we were in a frenzy to get into the partk.m and skipped it.

Staff were amazing, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet and breakfast offerings were fantastic. My only issue was the room air conditioning would not work. I did not report it as it wasn’t overly hot in the room; I just wanted more air flow.

The staff at the hotel were all very welcoming. We had travelled from 8 nights at Tokyo Oriental Urayasa so or point of comparison was og a very high standard, with much more amenity and larger room size. The room at Oriental Universal City was much smaller, however it was very clean. The bathroom is all in one (no separate lavatory or shower room) and quite small. If you want somewhere clean and comfortable to stay very close to Universal, this is a great choice. Note that they only have Japanese style pillow with beads and no other options. This was not a huge challenge for us, but I am sure for those who prefer a softer option this would be an issue. The beds were very comfortable and made up each day, with PJ replaced too. You will need to ask for a children's pack for slippers and PJ for children. Adults are replaced in the room each day. The mini fridge is very small, unable to store anything but a few drinks. We did not try the buffet breakfast option as wanted to be at the park early. The Lawson is much better than the 7-11 for grab and go did options and there are many options at surrounding restaurants.

Every staff was so kind and nice and the best one is the welcome lounge. My busy and I enjoyed the coffee and hotdogs even at 8pm after we returned from USJ. Also I really appreciate your hotel assigned the room close to the elevator just as I requested in advance. I’ll definitely choose your hotel if I visit USJ again.
