With heating and AC, and fireplace in the living room, you'll stay comfortable year-round. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels provided. Enjoy all that Osawatomie has to offer when you stay at our place. You’re steps away from a donut/coffee shop, Mexican restaurant and a corner market. Mile Zero trailhead of the Flint Hills Nature Trail is close by along with museums, parks, a community fitness center with indoor and outdoor pools, fishing spots, local golf course and more! There’s shared (free) laundry facilities on site. Food trucks park in the courtyard next door (seasonal)! This 2nd floor unit overlooks Main Street and gives a front row view for the community parades and festivals. Charming small town atmosphere that makes you feel right at home!

World Cup travelers- we’re located 45 miles SW of GEHA Field/Arrowhead Stadium, 45 miles SE of Sporting KC facility, 50 miles S of KC Current facility. There’s less traffic congestion south of the city, so it takes about an hour drive to any of these venues. The closest public transportation/ shuttle service would be in South KC or possibly even some in Johnson County KS (20-30 minute drive from Osawatomie).

The apartment was very clean and decorated so cute. We also enjoyed the gift certificate to the coffee shop below the apartment. Plenty of room for two people. Shelagh is a wonderful host and always responded immediately, even on the Thanksgiving holiday. The Mexican restaurant below has great food and margaritas too!Might suggest moving the microwave above the sink and raising the oven hood up for a little more room to use the stove for cooking but regardless would still highly recommend this location. It is great. Thanks again to our host for a clean, comfy place to stay while visiting family.
