Our check-in process was chaotic. no line. There were multiple tour groups so the lobby seemed very crowded. Buffet food is good but buffet sitting area and food area is super crowded with narrow walking aisles. No AC but we opened the window and it was fine.

The hotel is in a perfect location for public transportation and getting anywhere around Oslo at anytime. It truly is a hub and with the Ruter app we had no problem finding where to go, how and when. We ate frequently in the bar on the main floor, the staff there were wonderful and so was the food, the staff in the rooftop lounge treated us so rudely on our first night we never went there again. Make sure you book a room with the breakfast buffet, it is stupendous, the best I have experienced anywhere in my travels. The rooms do have air conditioning but they are not very cool, so open a window.

During a heat wave in Oslo the bathroom in our room had heated floors and heat lamps that could not be turned off. Fan in the room only ran for a few minutes. The lobby and hallways were cooler than the rooms in the hotel. I can understand not having air conditioning in all the roos but there should be a way to turn off the heat in the bathroom.

The Best Breakfast

The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from Oslo main train station while there's also tram and bus services in front of hotel and across the road. The check-in is very late at 16:00 hours but it's OK as I could leave my luggage with the hotel. I came back at 15:20 to see if I could check-in the response from the front of staff was I am doing you a favour by check-in you early - this made me feel upset. The room was OK as I have been provided with an easy accessible room. The main plus point is the breakfast from this hotel as it's good loads of different options on bread, eggs, fruits, drinks and hot food as well.
