Very clean and comfortable

Hotel was super clean and comfortable. Nice bathtub and shower, and big window with a view of the museum of nature. I reallt enjoyed using the kitchen but i had to buy some staples like salt and oil. The coffee maker didnt work super well but everything else was in good condition. Also location was perfect.

The check in is smooth and convenient, because we are just following pre-set instructions to check in. The room was spacious and tidy, however when we ask for the sofa bed to be setup, all we get is an instruction from the chat to tell you “how to setup for yourself”, the sofa bed is really heavy and we eventually give up trying…... Also, the Air conditioning is really loud, and it somehow affects our sleeps.

I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return! Checking in was a breeze with the keypads and personalized code. The suite was cozy and well-stocked in terms of appliances and linens, etc., it had everything I needed. The fact that there was parking directly in the basement also made my arrival and departure quick and easy.

The room was a good size, nicely designed, and well located. However, the sofa bed was a disaster. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable — it felt like it was just springs with no padding. Our two children ended up having to sleep on the main sofa instead. Also, the bathroom was missing shower soap. Overall, we were very disappointed.

The building and fitness room is really nice amd handy. The suite living room is nice and well laid out. The TVs are good. The remotes are bit awkward (needing to find the 3rd network that has a signal on one remote before being able to use the other remote to select programs etc.) The kitchen is nice but a bit small. It be handy to have dish drying rack. It would be nice if you had salt and pepper available. The bedroom is nice but it useful to have a couple shelves or a dresser available to fold some clothes etc. You can hang everything. It would to be able to put some folded clothes somewhere. But after leaving the property I realized I forgot my laptop charging cable in the room. I phoned for assistance and there was no effort to help me retrieve it in spite of the fact I was still in the Gatineau area for the following week. I called the helpline 3x and no one provided any meaningful help or follow-up. I was told the cleaning staff would check and I would receive a follow-up text confirming the status of the charging cable but I received no follow-up whatsoever. That was disappointing. On my own I returned to the Sonder on O’Connor and asked the concierge to help me. She involved the cleaning staff and checked the lost and found and found my laptop charging cord so I was able to retrieve it in the end.
