Not a good experience! We requested a ground floor room when we made the reservation because we are senior citizens in poor health and struggle with stairs especially if we have to carry luggage. This property does not have an elevator. Even worse was the hammock provided as a bed. We appreciate togetherness but this was ridiculous! We were not able to rest and then almost tumbled down the steps trying to drag our luggage back out. We would have been better off staying in our car than entering this place. At least we wouldn't have had to deal with the rude reception at the desk. 😟 P.S. the review for some reason will not allow me to share a picture of the bed. It was unbelievable! The center of the bed was sunken by more that a foot!

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express, but their price was out of this world. So, using Trivago and knowing approximately where the AmericInn was off North Bridge Street, I booked through Expedia and saved fifty bucks. My wife says the room is just as nice as our normal at the other place, so we will be staying here from now on when we come to visit her dad.

Sisters in Town for State Park Walks

Our 2nd floor room was newly redone. We were pleasantly surprised with the new furniture, big screen TV, availability of service near their location, and helpfulness of the sraff.

A good hotel

Honestly it was a great stay. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because some of the lights were burnt out and the fridges didnt get very cold. Other than that very much enjoyed my experience here. %100 would stay again.
