Arrived just after 3pm for check in to find a crowd in the foyer and most were being told that rooms were not ready. No timescale given so sat there for almost an hour before being told we were being given one of the rooms that was ready. Not even offered a drink whilst waiting.

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment with the service and conditions experienced during my stay at your hotel. Despite raising concerns during our visit, no action was taken to address the following unacceptable issues: • Air Conditioning and Room Comfort: The air conditioning and fan in our room were completely non-functional. The room had no windows that could be opened, resulting in unbearable heat—over 25°C—even in the evening. It was impossible to rest or sleep in such conditions. • Room Cleanliness: Our room had clearly not been cleaned, which added further to our discomfort and dissatisfaction. • Lack of Staff and Communication: Upon trying to get service at the bar, we waited 25 minutes before being told that staff should be starting soon. When we returned another 30 minutes later, there was still no one available. This was not a one-off occurrence—staff were notably absent throughout our stay. • No In-Room Phone: Our room lacked even a basic telephone. This is not only highly inconvenient but also a safety concern in the case of an emergency. I attempted to call reception multiple times from my mobile with no response, despite having call logs to prove my efforts. • Lack of Support: I was forced to come down to reception in person—while trying to get ready for bed—just to get any form of help. This is simply unacceptable and demonstrates a serious failure in customer service and hotel operations. Given these numerous issues, I am demanding

I requested an accessible room due to me using a small electric scooter. Even though I sat on it at reception on check in I was given an end room that had two doors to negotiate and on entry to the room it was a tight 90 degree turn with no room to turn the scooter around. It was virtually impossible and brought on bad anxiety on top of my sever COPD being made much worse because of this. I had booked in for 4 nights but left a day early as I couldn't face being there any longer!!! The one and only good point was a reception female called Victoria who was amazing. She was so lovely and friendly and carried my small case to and from my room happily. It's a shame she was the only good point about this hotel.

Nice place to stay but poor quality breakfast

The location and service for this hotel were amazing. The room condition, bathroom etc, were clean and tidy. The only thing that was not appealing was the Breakfast. The choices were limited and not worth the value. The price paid for this breakfast was £15, but not satisfied.

Long weekend away.

Right from the booking in until we left. The lady that booked us was very polite and helpful. We had a priemer room on the top floor. The view was great, it looked over to the pier and beach. The room was really big, the bed was massive really comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable price and you had good options. We were only 5 minutes away from the town centre and shops. Definitely go back in the future.

The only issue is the facility to dry my hear whilst looking in a mirror. It was very difficult with the hair dryer cable being at full stretch as the mirror is half way down the corridor almost opposite the bathroom door & the nearest plug point is by the tea & coffee point

The property is apparently quite new and it did appear to be. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We mainly didn't eat at the property. Not sure but it appeared they were short of options. Tried to book a table for 10 and they very kindly let us know they were changing their menu and had shortages. There are plenty of other options to eat very nearby. My one issue that I would like to bring up is the £15.00 per day charge for our dog. ( very small dog ) The reason I think this unfair being. If we had stayed one night they could well claim the charge is for a deep clean on our departure. Having stayed three nights it did not appear they carried out a deep clean each day of our stay!? Therefore for £45.00 I may well have got the one deep clean on leaving, maybe. I just think a one off £15.00 per stay would be fare.

Great Stay for a Business Trip

We have stayed here before and breakfast was acceptable but not the best presentation and not cooked well. There was a choice of poached or fried eggs to order and scrambled on buffet. There is only scrambled egg available now and no tomatoes, which doesn't please everyone...certainly not us or other guests we spoke to. Think twice before staying again.
