This was a nice stay with a comfortable and clean room. I also appreciated the kitchenette and the balcony. The car park is *extremely* tight, though, and there is no screen for the balcony so apparently cockroaches do fly in in the summer. I would suggest not leaving the balcony windows, etc. open in the summer for this reason, but they did put traps down at my request.

Property run by elderly couple, who are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are excellent with spacing and amenities. Walking distance to Wharf. Check the conditions before booking with Wotif. Rooms are priced for 2 people and $25 us charged for extra person which was not clear stated by Wotif while booking. otherwise wonderful experience of staying here.

This is an older property, however it was comfortable and the owners were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Very convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Nice setting, feels like a park. You can hear the ocean waves while sitting amongst the trees. Owner was helpful and offered suggestions for dining. Short walk into town was a surprise because it is literally just around the corner. The entrance to the property is a very steep hill and the parking is very tight, so if you can park and then walk everywhere, that’s a great option.

This property has a fantastic location close to all that the Bay of Islands has to offer. An older style complex that is good value for money, the units are comfortable and clean, and fully self-contained. This complex is a100m walk to the closest Paihia beach and a flat 10-minute walk to the main street and tourist wharf at Paihia.
