Private residence situated on the golf course at Monterey Country Club in the heart of Palm Desert. Wake up to views of beautiful mountain ranges, exquisite sunrises while enjoying your morning coffee on this exclusive golf course destination. With a fully remodeled kitchen, BBQ and two patios, enjoy a home cooked meal or grab a 5 minute ride to popular El Paseo District in downtown Palm Desert filled with the finest food, drinks, and shopping in the valley.

The residence is situated inside a gated community, offering 34 pools (one directly outside property location), golf, tennis, pickleball, gym and Country Club amenities (at a cost to the renter). This immaculate residence was fully remodeled in the Summer of 2022. All furniture, TV’s, flooring, bathrooms, showers, paint, and appliances are all brand new. Brand new BBQ situated outside sliding glass door of secondary master bedroom.

The home is equipped with a Smarthome keyless entry making contactless checkin and checkout seamless for guests. A secured 2 car garage is available for guests and their vehicles. The residence comes equipped with 2 king size beds and two televisions. During Summer months, Monterey Country Club does routine maintenance including spa and pool repair, concrete and asphalt repair and at times, painting of residences. All of these are out of the control of all owners here at Monterey Country Club. Should you book during one of these unforeseen times, no refund will be given.

The owners/Innkeepers have a FULL Country Club Membership. This sets us apart from some other hosts, because with our full membership, you as the tenant are given access to ALL of the Country Club amenities with an application, approval from Country Club personnel, and seasonal fees.

There are multiple locations in which to fly into the greater Palm Desert Area: Palm Springs International Airport (9.1 miles), Bermuda Dunes, Thermal Private Airport (6.5 miles), Ontario International Airport (73 miles), San Diego International Airport (84 miles), Orange County Airport (85 miles) and Los Angeles International Airport (117 miles).

Local recommendations that we enjoy:
1.4 miles to El Paseo District (shopping, food/drink). 1.3 miles to “The River” (shopping food/drink). 5.3 miles to Aqua Caliente Casino. 28 miles to the renowned Cabazon Outlets.

This IS NOT a party residence; it is a quiet relaxing getaway for couples, families or groups of NO more than 4. Your owner and innkeeper live within the community and the neighbors also keep a close eye. Security cameras are on the front exterior of the premises. Noise complaints from the on site security, personal communications from neighbors to your Innkeeper regarding violations or noticeable rule violations by your Innkeeper, will result in fines with an escalating value. Excessive noise or parties will NOT be tolerated. If you are found to be doing either, your security deposit will be immediately forfeited and you will be required to leave the premises at that time. NO SMOKING of any kind is permitted inside the residence. This includes, cigarettes, cigars, vaping of any kind. NO illicit drug use is permitted on the property. Violation of these rules, will result in substantial fines.

This place would have been perfect if not for the severe flea infestation. All of us got multiple bites all over our bodies during our stay and caught multiple live fleas. It took us several days to realize this as we thought we had gotten the bites while out hiking. To be fair , we didn’t notify the hosts while we were there because our remaining stay was relatively short and we didn’t want the place fumigated with all our belongings in it. There was an issue with the faucet in one of the showers so we had to share the other bathroom for a night. But the owner was very responsive and got it repaired the next day on Xmas eve

It was very nice but the nearest pool was closed at the time and the patio furniture was dirty and lots of leaves… otherwise very clean inside and everything we needed… host Chris was very helpful with getting things straightened out w VRBO

Great location beautiful place!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and a perfect location- steps to the pool and on a tee box so no the risk was low of getting hit by a ball. It was nice and quiet, perfect for a family getaway. We had several families staying at Monterey Country Club and I think we hit the jackpot with this place. Thank you to Chris and Jillian

Beautiful, quiet oasis

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well-maintained property with spectacular views, lenty of room, and steps from the pool. We appreciated having plenty of cabinet and dresser space to store our things during our stay, and we took advantage of the well-appointed kitchen to cook and bake. The owners were very responsive, and our family all agreed we would love to return.

Outstanding Rental

I rented this property for visiting relatives who had a wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and extremely well located condo. The country club setting and mountain views were lovely and the pool and spa were just steps out the back door. Jill and Chris were the consummate hosts. They were responsive, helpful, accommodating, and highly professional. My family members had an outstanding stay!

Enjoyable Stay

We recommend this property. This lovely condo is spacious and comfortable, and Monterey County Club is quite beautiful. It is only a few minutes drive to the South Gate for access to Monterey Ave, which takes you quickly to shops, restaurants, the Living Desert ,etc. Near the condo, there is little auto traffic, and we saw several people taking morning runs or walks with their dogs. As it was over 100 degrees in the afternoon, we especially enjoyed the pool, which is only a few steps from the back patio, and the owners provided water floats etc. for use. The spa was very nice for the evenings. We had a fun, relaxing few days.

My husband’s birthday

We stayed at this location to celebrate my husband birthday. The home is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Located on a golf course and centrally located to upscale shopping and restaurants. We will definitely come back. The only negatives: one of the bedrooms did have a television and the pool was dirty because of trees being trimmed.

Just perfect!

Loved everything about our stay! This condo is perfectly located on a beautiful hole on Monterey Golf Course. So fun to watch the golfers tee off! Our pool was steps away from the condo which was very convenient. Loved relaxing on the patio and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The condo itself was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our family of four. I do wish they had better pictures of the views from the patio and pool area with the posting as the ones online do not give it justice…it is simply breathtaking!

Wonderful Winter Stay

We spent a lovely three months in Chris and Jill‘s condo. It has recently been renovated and it’s lovely. It has a very open feeling and is extremely bright and cheerful. It’s wonderful to find two king-size beds in one condo. The outside area in the back is delightful. It is nicely furnished with couches, lounge chairs and table and chairs w/umbrella. It overlooks the tee on the golf course so you can be entertained while you’re out there - it also is steps away from one of the many pool in the development. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. We would definitely recommend this condo.

Stay during National Pickleball Tournament

The home was very clean and everything looked brand new. The home has an open floor plan with lots of windows and a great patio area. We were at the home for five nights and had a great time. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. The only issue was after a 10 hour drive to the home, the electronic door lock would not work. We had to contact the property owner to unlock the door, but there were very responsive.

Fabulous newly renovated villa

The newly renovated villa and is beautiful and very well appointed. The place was incredibly clean and is in a fantastic location in the city. It’s also just steps to a great pool and hot tub. Outdoor furniture is comfy and inviting. Every room is spacious. Master bedroom mattress is a little uncomfortable, but the second bedroom mattress is much more comfortable. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to renting it again!
