We’ve got a free upgrade to poolside room. Kid loves the pool area. All bellmen are very nice and helpful. The front desk girls are quite cold-faced though. We messaged ahead of time saying estimated arrival time around 11am. They just replied they will try to accommodate our requests. However, when we got there 11am, the front desk girl was about to charge us 50 usd early check-in fee as it was before 12pm?! I know such fees exist by book but I travel all the time and I’ve actually never been asked to pay early check-in. They could have told me ahead of time so I could have planned ahead.

Suite 2115 is outdated with old furniture - scratch marks visible on the coffee table and night stands. Sofa bed was not sleepable - mattress was thin and worn, metal crossbars were felt easily through it. Room amenities did not match the number of guests - 5 guests, 2 water bottles, 4 towel sets, 2 robes. Two of the robes were clearly stained. Patio was facing a dirt lawn, not a spot we wanted to sit and relax. Shower door was maligned to the tile and would get stuck. It wasn’t worth the dollars we were charged for it. Service recovery by Maria (manager on duty) and Ashlee (front desk) were excellent. Paltry baby beet salad (double date) served, Jorge fixed it but it should not have left the kitchen. This was not resort level quality.

We had an issue with neighbors smoking and being extremely loud keeping us up at night and waking us in the am. When I called th front desk the sent someone extremely fast to fix the smoking issue since its a non smoking hotel. They were very friendly on the phone and concerned about making our stay great. After I voiced my concerns at check out they took off the cost of my room charges which I was very shocked and thankful for. A manager even followed up after. We’ve stayed here 6+ times and this was the first issue we had and they handled it amazing. Well most likely go back
