The room was very dark. The rooms on bottom floor towards the parking lot had a window looking out to concrete, the walkway and the barred entry door. Therefore if you tried to open the window the 3 inches you were allowed it wasn't safe. The rooms had highly perfumed smells and no way to be rid of the smell since you couldn't open the window. Claustrophobic. I was transferred to a 3rd floor room. Better. But still could not open the window at all. I called the desk, they helpfully sent someone up who struggled with the window but got it open and then moved the window lock a few inches so I could get some air in. Could then open about 6 or 8 inches. Still claustrophic and dark. The lights were mostly all lamps so dark. The shower, while newly renovated was on a slope so the shower door wouldn't stay closed while in the shower, so kept opening all the way. Dangerous. The pillows and sheets were clean, but only a fair quality. Incredibly disappointing for the price, for any price. The staff were helpful though. I wouldn't want to stay there again.
