One of the reasons for booking here was the restaurant and room service only to find out it was closed for renovations till end of February. Its very shady when a hotel explicitly does not include one of its main attractions is unavailable

Check in/out staffs are great. Francisco very patience and friendly. Upon checkin-the Executive suite-room is not fully staffed for 3 person- 1pr of slipper/no dish soap/sponge/shower cap. Kitchen ware- 3 drinking glass instead of 4. Someone must have broke it, fork and spoon all odds sizes and all sizes for the fork and spoon. Have to ask for whatever missing.

I have been staying here, off and on, for 45 years. The hotel is old and dilapidated. Shower barely works , water supply intermittent, sorry, but it’s a dump now and I will not be coming back until you do a much needed renovation. The rooms need to be gutted, not just recreated and painted. And they stink. Sad. I wish you luck.

One of my favorite hotels on the planet, hands down. Beautiful grounds, spacious and comfortable rooms, warm outdoor pool, good food. My family lived right next door for several years and always recommended it to our visiting guests. Now that we’ve relocated out of state, we go out of our way to stay here when we travel back to the Bay Area. Go, swim, feed the ducks and koi. You deserve a break.
