The resort is about 30 minutes outside of the city so you get the best of both worlds - lovely resort with private beach and access to the city if you want to go sightseeing or enjoy the night life.

Overall I would give this place a 4 out of 5. The staff since my wife and I arrived with our kiddo were nothing but kind and great to us. They catered to my wife’s needs being pregnant also. Only complaint I do have is that during our stay in the 9th floor their was construction going on in the floor below us so their was constant noise for us to relax. In addition one of the restaurants was under construction but they still accommodated and used that menu in Asiana. Great food and atmosphere. Thank yall for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful but limited dining.

Beautiful location. There was construction going on during the day (I had to do a bit of work in my room) which was a bit annoying. Limited dining options, but overall a nice resort. Staff was friendly. Next time I will stay in Casco Viejo.

Unfortunately a number of restaurants on property were closed and staff gave poor information e.g. that the Italian cafe was only closed on Sundays (but it was also closed on Monday). Really not good selection of restaurants for an independent traveler so went off property to eat. It seems that the hotel is basically a tour location

I regretted booking here, simply because it felt like walking into a hotel in the US. Nothing Panamanian about it. Very expensive food. Full of Americans. There were very limited food options for breakfast, other than the expensive buffet. We ordered room service once, but it took two hours to arrive. Nothing to do in and around the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Pros; The staff were helpful and accommodating. Honestly one of the best Pina Coladas I’ve ever had. Never crowded and pool activities were fun. I liked the dance lessons. Food was great, especially the a la cartes. Cons: Room was a little run down and one day they took all our toilet paper away and we had to walk down to the front desk to get more. Overall, would go back for sure!

We inquired prior to check in about laundry available. We where sent to the 8th floor to run a load of laundry, mainly baby and kids clothing. There is no laundry available for guests, despite what their website says. We wondered to the front desk who told us they can run a load for us. They took our laundry and said it would be back in the morning when our room was cleaned. They kept our laundry for two full days after it being dropped off. This left us with no clean clothing, we have a baby and a kid, we had to sleep in dirty clothing two nights in a row. We called multiple times asking where our clothing was, we where told multiple times it will be up in an hour, in 15 minutes, we stopped by the front desk to ask for it three additional times. Going on our third night with no clothing my husband demanded someone go find our clothing. Our laundry had been done and sitting somewhere for a while. The kicker of this is we are being charged almost $300 for a load of laundry that was mainly baby clothing. We would have NEVER allowed the staff to take our clothing if we knew they would charge that amount to keep our clothing from us for almost three days to clean a load of baby clothing. Next, the website shows incorrect hours for restaurants and almost all of them are closed until 6pm. The food was ok, not great, but the kicker is on multiple occasions one persons food would never show up. The server would drop off three out of four plates and walk off and never come back. AVOID
