It is a clean, convenient, safe place to stay. The bathroom is so small though that you cannot sit on the toilet properly- a little annoying but usable. Overall a great place to stay - I would definitely come back.

Great location

The location was excellent—just a short walk to Notre-Dame and close to a metro station, which made getting around Paris very easy. There were plenty of great food options in the area, from casual cafés to charming restaurants. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, as we preferred to explore the nearby bakeries each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to offer directions or recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing base after long days of sightseeing. Overall, a great stay in a perfect spot for exploring the city.

The location in the Latin Quarter and its proximity to the Metro station was perfect! It’s also right across the Seine from Notre Dame and St. Chappell. I will stay there again when I come back to Paris

Decent hotel. Great beds we got a good sleep every night. It is well situated to see the main sights and is a short walk to a lot of places. It is ideal if you have not been to Paris before and you do not have a lot of time. It is steps from the metro stop, and a 2 min walk to Notre Dame. The only down side is it is located on a very touristy street and night bars that can get a little noisy at night. We never felt unsafe, it’s just busy. Overall good place. Probably wouldn’t stay again just to explore another area, but it is a decent hotel with a good location for exploring the main sights in Paris.

We enjoyed our stay at the Albe Hotel. The location could not be more central, with great access to the metro (including the RER to CDG airport), tons of restaurants and stores, and the ability to walk to a number of desirable neighbourhoods. As for the hotel itself, it is basically what in the old days would be called a pension, It does not have a massive lobby and amenities as a business traveler might want, but is perfect for tourists. We arrived fairly late (9 pm) and the front desk was still staffed by a very pleasant gentleman. I reserved a "junior suite" for me and my two teenage children. The "junior suite" was basically a standard triple -- one queen sized bed and one twin/single bed. The room was not huge but it was fine for the three of us, given that we were not planning on spending huge amounts of time in there. The bed itself was super comfortable and I had a great sleep. The bathroom was very nice, with a fabulous waterfall shower and decent bath amenities, although there was no hair conditioner. We were thrilled about the very strong air conditioning, given that it was very hot in Paris when we were there. The hotel also had complimentary newspapers -- a nice touch that seems less common than in the past. People with mobility issues should know that one must go up a few steps to access the elevator. Also, the elevator only fits two people at a time with suitcases, so we had to make two trips. Just something to be aware of.

Very nice hotel and convenient location (close to Louvre, Notre Dame, Gardin du Luxembourg). In addition, very helpful staff, especially Sandrine. My grandson left his cellphone in the taxi on our way to the train station. Sandrine was so kind to contact this taxi driver, get the cellphone and sent it to me in USA. Great service! I definitely recommend this hotel.

The Albe Hôtel Saint-Michel is a perfect location for a wonderful boutique type hotel. It us located an easy 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and located off busy traffic streets. There are several restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel's breakfast room has a very attentive and friendly staff. The assortment of hot and cold food and quality was great. It offers a nicely balanced selection of freshly prepared hot and cold foods - dried cereals, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, lunchen meats/ cheeses muffins, breads, juices etc. A selection of hot tea was available as well as a self-serve coffee machine offering several choices of fresh coffee. My favorite was the decaff cappuccino. Regular was also available. You simply press the button of your choice, and within a few seconds you have a fresh hot cup of coffee. Our room overlooked the street we walked to the cathedral and did have very active pedestrian activety during the day. However, the window in our room was totally effective in blocking out sound. We were out of the room most of the day sightseeing anyway. Our room was cleaned very nicely and efficiently every day. Our twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were very cozy. The bathroom was very nice and included electric towel warmers which also helped dry simple hand laundry. I would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful, friendly staff also.

Location is perfect, the nearby station has a lift at exit 6 so it was very convenient to get around with luggage. Very close to several tourist attractions, so the area is always busy with good food options. The only issue with the location is that because it’s busy, at night it can get very noisy and it can be difficult to sleep. Soundproofing the rooms would have been helpful. I could definitely hear people from nearby rooms, upstairs and downstairs when they were walking around. Room was clean with a balcony, the pillows could be better as they were too soft for my liking. It would have been nice to have some disposable slippers in the room but I understand they are operating environmentally friendly. I enjoyed my stay at Albe Hotel and would definitely stay again for the location.
