This beautiful, wooden floored apartment is situated in a stone building. It has been recently redesigned and is very calm.
The apartment offers 4 large windows, bringing natural light, a view over a small paved alley and a small terrace.

On entering the apartment walking straight out the small corridor, one has the large living room with the open kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking everyday simple meals. The living room is decorated with paintings and other dainty decoration items. It offers a comfortable sofa and a dining space which is comfortable for up to 4 guests.

To the left of the entrance one can access the bedroom. The bedroom profits from a large window, and a comfortable double bed.

Quite rare for a 1 bedroom apt, a dressing is available next to the bedroom.

The fully tiled bathroom is located next to the bedroom. It profits from a window. It offers a comfortable stand in shower, a vanity area and a toilet.

The apartment has a small private terrace that can be accessed from the living room. It will be very pleasant to use especially during the summer, to enjoy some laid back meals or drinks. It is convenient, safe and calm.

Great location

I liked the apartment, it was super quiet (aside from hearing people going up and down the stairs but nothing major). Although it's right off a busy street, I liked secluded pretty alley way where it was located. A few people mentioned prostitutes' and yes, I also saw them but they mind their own business (I only saw one at a time and they were just leaning against a wall). Lots of locals doing their delivery, shopping, eating in cafes, etc. The street felt very safe. I was by myself and no issues at night. I liked all the different food places, easy of transportation options nearby. The place was great for one person, for a couple I could see it being a bit tight space in the bedroom. There's no space for night tables and the mattress is against the wall, with only one side possible for getting in and out of the bed. The bathroom sink is also pretty small, but typical for European bathrooms. There's lots of storage under the sink. It's located on the first floor so you do have to carry your luggage one fight of stairs. The kitchen in nice, large refrigerator. The checking process was not the best. Although the instructions were super easy to follow, it was not ideal as a single person to have to go with your luggage to go to another street to get a lock attached to a random pipe and do the same at checkout. I had a nice stay, I enjoyed my time in Paris and in this apartment.

Nice Apt in city center

The 1bedroom apt was exactly how described. Clean and updated as good as you can in old Paris. I would recommend adding drapes to the kitchen window as there was a tailor business in the neighboring building and they could look right in. Also, the key to the apt is located 2 blocks away and felt like a scavenger hunt. It would be better to put a key inside the entryway.

Perfect apartment on a lively street

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. The apartment was right on a busy street, but set back far enough to not feel like you were overwhelmed by noise. The apartment had plenty of space, with some very thoughtful decorations and amenities. The small outdoor space was perfect to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Great location, nice apartment

This is a lovely apartment, small but with everything we needed, and we loved the location. We could walk to the apartment from the train station, and walk to the sights we wanted to see. The area itself has an interesting vibe too!

Cute place in great location

Everything looked exactly like the photos and although the checkin process was a bit unconventional, the instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Very close to the Metro which made it extremely easy to get around to all the sites. Great neighborhood as well as across the main street with lots of restaurants/cafes.

NO Air Conditioning

This is a 3rd floor with no air conditioning and while it was 90 degrees with humidity of 100 degrees, we were told to open windows thst are only on 1 side of the apt and a building blocking any breeze! While Parisians were using fans and portable air, we were told we just had to deal with it. The apt was not as nice as the pictures show and the "patio" is only 2 pieces of wood layed together for "privacy". We would not recommend based on th way the owner treated us when we called.

Diverse location

This apartment was clean and had all the amenities necessary to stay a few days while vacationing in Paris. However the check in was somewhat challenging with instructions to pick up the key from a lockbox locked to a sewer pipe 3 blocks away, very strange way to get keys. Then you have to return them to the same place when checking out. We loved all the restaurants nearby and the close Metro stations. The neighborhood is very diverse and close by there are prostitutes hanging out in some of the hallways off the sidewalk . Also you cannot enjoy the patio outside the apartment , not nice and nothing like expected. Overall we had no issues staying here and it all worked out fine since we only showered and slept here since we were sight seeing all day.

Summer in Paris

This is a cute apartment with all the amenities one needs to cook light meals and to enjoy if you plan to explore Paris. While there was a bit more noise than I was expecting from neighbouring apartments, we had large windows we could open and close. Very close to the metro, good restaurants and food markets are nearby.

A week in Paris

We lived the location in the center of the busy Saint Denis area. Close to Metro, walk to museums, Ille Cute, sidewalk cafes with great food and ambience, and groceries. The apartment was great, the balcony was not usable and the picture is misleading. That's the only issue with our stay. We otherwise enjoyed the apartment.

Change of venue

We originally booked the above property but a week before our arrival, they notified us it was under renovation. We were switched to a lovely fourth floor apartment in the Montmartre District instead. The large windows looked out over a charming bricked square filled with oak trees. It was next to a restaurant where we had the pleasure of listening to an accordion player every morning. Very Parisian! The area was safe and full of wonderful restaurants, artists. and the famous Sacre Coeur Church nearby. The linens and towels along with the apartment were fresh and clean, so it was a pleasure to come home after a busy day of sightseeing in Paris. We would highly recommend this location at 16 place Emile Goudeau 75018 Paris. But keep in mind it is a fourth floor walk-up.

Cozy within short distance to great eats

Was perfect for a 2 person get away. Short walk to a whole street full of restaurants. Walking distance to the Louvre. Getting the keys was a bit like a geocache search - not something I'd want to do when very jet-lagged or raining.

Cosy and stylish hub

We stayed here for three weeks from just after Christmas 2018. The apartment is in a great location, close to main thoroughfares like rue Reamur and right on rue Saint Denis, which runs all the way down to rue de Rivoli which is just one block from the Seine. It was so easy to walk to all locations from here that we rarely used the metro. Close to trendy shops on rue Etienne Marcel, bistros, supermarkets, and lots of lovely providores on rue Montorgueil and rue Montmartre and near our favourite wine bar, Frenchie. Although there are a few local prostitutes in the street, they keep to themselves and the area is very safe and quiet with only one way traffic. The apartment had an easy self check-in and check-out, was very secure and toasty warm. We turned the heaters down low because it held the heat so well. Good kitchen with pots, pans and plenty of basic utensils for cooking simple meals - why cook anything glam for yourself in Paris when there are so many places that can do it so much better. Lots of hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom but I would have liked brighter lighting for the mirror. Comfortable, firm bed and soft pillows with blockout blinds for a perfect sleep. It's a busy wholesale and discount retail clothing area but the apartment is very quiet. Even on New Year's Eve we heard very little noise. It was a bonus having the storage cupboard to keep our clothes and luggage in, and meant the rest of the place was free to use without having to skirt around big suitcases. Good wifi that never failed or ran slow made planning our day's activities or booking tickets easy. The place is nicely furnished with a very comfortable couch, dining table and good mood/task lighting. We loved being able to get Netflix on the Tv as well as keeping up with local Parisian and French news. As it was about -3C to -8C most days, we didn't use the outside area but that would be nice in Summer. Jean-Noel was great at communicating promptly with me and we had no problems at all. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Spacious, Quiet Apartment - Handy to Les Halles/Louvre/Centre Pompidou

I was in Paris for work and had an easy commute back and forth from the RER B stop, Parc des Expostions, to the apartment every day. The neighborhood is safe and very fashionable with the clothing stores lining the streets. The wonderful people at L’amour Vache took care of me a couple of times and I enjoyed eating there very much. Grocery stores were conveniently located. The bed was so comfortable and I felt so at home in the well thought out apartment, especially the kitchen. Never heard any street noise, which is really amazing since you are so close to everything. Hoping to stay here again if I have the good fortune to come back.

A large Parisian Appartment, Centrally located.

Positives: the apartment was large, the kitchen and bathroom were updated beautifully, only 5 minutes to closest Metro stop and only 7 or 8 minutes to the next closest one. Les Halles, with its bars and restaurants was only a couple of blocks away, and Notre Dame and the Ile de la Cite were about a 25 minute walk. Negatives: I would say the neighborhood was sketchy rather than upscale and my husband and I saw prostitutes daily between the closest Metro and the apartment. That said, we never had any problems in the neighborhood and I felt quite safe in our apartment.
