Just what was needed

We only needed a hotel close to both the Gard du Nordic and Gard del’Est. This was just right. Plenty of small restaurants nearby. Spot on.

3 star advertised ,2 star on the door ,1 star in my mind , cramped uncomfortable room and bed, one chair for two of us ,tiny bathroom ,no kettle, dirty threadbare carpets, cleaners threw duty washing in hallways for us to step over, cramped breakfast area, only bothered day one, left day early to go home, backpackers hostel comes to mind ,

The property and staff were really nice. Everything was clean and cleaned daily. Good breakfast as well. The area was around gare de l'est was alright and easy to find. Just felt that as I was walking out of the area early evening it had very busy streets and felt a little intimidating.

Good value hotel in a good location.

We arrived as a group of 4, we had booked 4 separate rooms and arrived at 11pm. We stayed one night. The reception was manned on arrival which was really helpful for us. The rooms are small but with a good use of space, bedding and bathrooms were very clean. Slept well. Beds were a good size and on suite bathrooms were fab. Reception were knowledgeable and helpful on arrival and leaving. Really useful location by the metro station for travelling around Paris. Really good price and we would stay again.

You get what you pay for, though to be honest this was overpriced. This was old and dated but clean and staff were friendly. Clean towels daily. Bathroom has hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of plugs in the room and a fan. No kettle. Breakfast not worth the money but McDonalds, KFC and Burger King all very close.
