Definitely the staff was not too friendly when we asked the question. It seems like we were bothering them like we were demanding something, but it was just a question.

This was by far the worst hotel room experience of my life. The room was so small you literally had to jump over the bed to get to the other side. There was no room to open 2 carry on cases. And let’s not talk about the floor carpet. It looked like it had never been cleaned since the hotel opened. The shower had no curtains, that means water kept on splashing onto the floor. The only reason i give it a 2 start and not one, because the staff seemed nice and and helpful. I would only stay in this hotel if it was an emergency and i was stranded around the area. Just pay the extra and stay somewhere more descent. I don’t know if hotel rooms in Paris are like this since it was my first time visiting, but don’t let yourself get fool by the nice lobby in the picture and definitely check the room dimensions in the description.

Hotel experience

One of the receptionists was very rude as soon as we entered made me feel very upset and unwelcomed spoke to us like we are stupid. They keep your room key you are not allowed to take it out with you which personally made me feel unsafe as all my belongings are in there and when you’re coming in you just ask for the room number with no safety questions so anyone could take the key and say it’s their room, also you’re stuck outside if the receptionist is doing something or not there. The holding money when booking is kept till after you leave and you will still need to pay full price even though they have taken already half. Bed is very uncomfortable room is fallen apart, no essentials just some soap. Only good thing is the hotel is convenient area and also very nice area, night receptionist was so lovely and caring I didn’t manage to get his name but super lovely young boy. Otherwise would never go again, if it was more than 2 days I would have left the hotel and picked a different one.

Friendly staff, small dirty rooms

Our stay was very mid. The staff were all very friendly, but the room was extremely small and the room and bathroom were quite dirty… the rug had stains all over, as did the walls. You can just FEEL the grime.

The information and pictures do not match the current state of the hotel. This is in an unsafe area. The mattress are like sleeping on wood planks, the shower is just an attachment on a tub and hangs you cant stand to shower. The elevator feels like it will break any moment. Walls are dirty the ceilings have open spaces and looks like there are cameras in areas like the bathroom over bath.

The rooms are tiny, but this is not unusual in Paris from my experience. Location is close to the train and walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Breakfast is extra, but really nice breakfast for the price.

The location of this property is excellent! Steps to the metropolitan and delicious restaurants. It’s a no nonsense place to sleep and shower, doesn’t have any extra fluff. But when in Paris it’s not about the room. It did keep us very warm at night during some really cold nights. We had a nice stay - because location location location.

Urged for maintainance, not worth it at all.

The room that was asigned to me was nothing to do with the advertising ones. I'm really not exagerating when I say it was terrible: super small with low roof, the carpet was stained, hairs on the towels and shower, and a plague of little drain flyes that kept comming out. When I asked a room change "it wasn't possible until next morning", a different person was at the front desk, couldn't reason with him about the room conditions and just said that I could file a complain. At the end I had to pay a "price difference" for a decent room. The hotel is has a good location in a good neighborhood, but definetly was not worth it.
