Mostly positives, some negatives. Positive: location - great location with lots to walk to including food options. Cleanliness / this hotel was very clean. Front desk staff - helpful and nice. Negative - the value for money imo was up in the air. I think if you don’t care about the location as much it would have been a lot cheaper with another 4* Our first of two nights our air con was broken. No option to switch. We were up half the night from the heat and I had to sleep in the morning and wasted half a day I had in Paris. No offer of any compensation - they did move me to a new room that day but it was disappointing. Basic things like conditioner you needed to ask for - no one mentioned it as an option so glad I didn’t assume it wasn’t available and called and asked for it. Imo it ships be standard to have in the room for a 4* hotel. Housekeeping walking in. Maybe this is a normal thing in France as our hotel previous our housekeeping staff walked in each day with no knocking? At hotel Duminy same they knocked and I said no thank you and they walked in. Put your do not disturb and lock your door 😂 Room size / the basic rooms are TINY. Workable but tight. I’d return if I could find a better deal (paid $600 a night cad)

Outstanding location in the 1st arrondisement, near the Place Vendôme, one block north of the Tuileries (and a couple blocks from the Tuileries Metro station). From here you can walk to so many great restaurants, cafes, shops and sights. Walk 3 minutes and you're in the Tuileries. Walk 6 minutes and you're at the Louvre. Walk 10 minutes and you're at the Musee d'Orsay. And the proximity to the Tuileries Metro station (or the Concorde station a few minutes away) gives you quick, easy, and relatively inexpensive access to much of Paris. The rooms were small but clean, with modern design and modern amenities such as USB ports (USB-A and USB-C) and electronically controlled window shades. The air conditioner could have been stronger, but after leaving it on for a while the room cooled down well enough. Probably the most disappointing thing was the breakfast buffet. While it's all-you-can-eat, I found myself not wanting to eat more than one serving. There are lots of places nearby where you can get better breakfasts (it is Paris, after all) for less money. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again myself in the future.

This was our second stay at Duminy Vendome, 6 months apart. We love the neighborhood with some good options for dining (especially close to Happy Cafe for breakfast :) Close to the Metro line 1, walking distance to the Opera, Musee d'Orsay, Luxembourg gardens, Louvre, Notre Dame, Champs Elysee..... The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice with details such as good linens and very nice shower heads! Our inside room was very quiet.

Hotel Duminy Vendone is modern, clean, comfortable and beautiful, yet still distinctly unique. Its staff exceeded expectations at every turn. They couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. And the location is superb. You are in the center of everything, close to major sites, fabulous dining and high-end shopping.

I recently booked a stay at Hotel Duminy for myself and my three children, aged 13, 10, and 10, and we had a wonderful experience. We were provided with two connecting rooms—one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds. Each room had access to the main door, but only the king-size room could access both, which was a fantastic feature that ensured the kids couldn’t just barge in whenever they wanted! The breakfast was quite good, and the croissants were particularly delightful. I appreciated the Nespresso machine in our room, complete with capsules, which allowed me to enjoy my morning coffee in peace—just the way I like to start the day. The first day was wonderfully quiet, but being in such a central location, we encountered some early morning construction noise on the second day. After a long day of exploring the streets of Paris, this was a bit frustrating since we needed our sleep that morning! A special shout-out to Martina, who went above and beyond to help us secure a same-day, reasonably priced guided tour of the Louvre. She made my daughters’ dream of seeing the Mona Lisa a reality, especially since online tickets had been sold out for weeks. Thank you, Martina! I will definitely be booking Hotel Duminy again. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering our stay was during high season. Plus, the hotel is just steps away from Le Meurice, where one night costs as much as our three-night stay!
