It would have been a five star if the scammers weren’t always waiting outside the door or close to it. The hotel is beautiful. The room is amazing. The view was great. Very quintessential French. Bed was comfortable. This hotel is located directly across the street of Gare du Nord train station. It gets a bit loud but overall don’t impact my stay. What impacted my stay were all the scammers following you around and trying to sell cigarettes and stuff to immediately when you leave the hotel. As a single female traveling alone, I didn’t not feel safe leaving the hotel evening around there.

Really lovely hotel. Beautifully refurbished about two years ago. We LOVED the interiors - the room, the bar/restaurant. The superior room was quite spacious with a lovely bathroom. Loved the dark Green tiles and mid-century vibe. Directly opposite the Gare du. Nord, so super convenient for visitors from the UK. Like any mainline station it has its share of ‘undesirables’ hanging around. That was fine with us (we live in south-east London and so actually like a bit of edginess. But it might not be great for families with round children. There were scores of men selling counterfeit cigarettes openly every day on the station forecourt. The only problems we faced at the hotel was lukewarm water in the shower and some issues with the heating. The staff were really super helpful and moved us to another room. They also provide supplementary heating. It was a pity because we loves the hotel. Without that we would have given them fives for everything. (Restaurant food was excellent).

Fantastic hotel right opposite Gare du Nord, the room we stayed in was small but practical for a couple of nights. The staff were amazing and helpful, front front office to the restaurant . As it's opposite Gare du Nord, there are plenty of dining options (including the Hotel's own restaurant), The Louvre is about 3km away which is walkable on a good day, Moulin Rouge 2km away and The Notre Dame Cathedral about similar distance (40mins walk)....we did a lot for walking, but Gare de L'est and many other stations are also round the corner Highly recommended

Un super de bel hôtel situé en face de la gare du nord. Sécuritaire, propre confortable et luxueux. Déjeuner extra, beaucoup de variétés (bacon, saucisses, fèves au lard, croissants fruits). Bruyant le soir et la nuit, un peu trop, mais bien insonorisé. Quartier un peu vieux et loin du centre-ville de Paris.

The very helpful staff made my 4 year old son’s first Paris trip amazing. Was our first adventure together and this hotel made me feel at ease being alone with my child. The hotel is in a fantastic location being across from the main station.
