First sign was a locked entrance (apparently unsafe area?). Ordered suite but room & bathroom were tiny. No closet. Tiny chairs (toddler size). Safe didn’t work. Inner courtyard looked like a homeless hangout. Only real positives was it was clean & close to train station. Don’t know how it is rated 4 stars.

Excellent boutique hotel just 3-4 min walk from Paris Gare de Lyon train station, which made it so easy to get the metro all over Paris. Lively area but the room was very quiet, with a comfortable bed and room darkening curtains to get a good sleep after walking Paris all day. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I would happily return.

Property boasts soundproof rooms while you can hear neighbors clomping around above and adjacent to the room. Most importantly, the man at the front desk raised his voice at me about breakfast while the wait staff was being courteous in our discussion. The coffee in the room is only instant powder and if you ask downstairs for coffee, it’s €3. If the staff offers you a croissant, the man at the reception will tell you it’s €17 because that’s the cost of the breakfast and he can’t charge for only a croissant. Even though I didn’t ask for the croissant, he proceeded to scold me for having it on a plate because I didn’t include breakfast on my reservation. I left the croissant and coffee stating I’ll go out for these things but that he was being unreasonable and I wasn’t aware that the items carried a charge. As I got into the elevator to go back to my room, the wait staff ran over to bring me the coffee and croissants, telling me to take them. I refused

We stayed here for 3 nights my wife said it was one of the comfiest beds she has ever slept in on any hotel (and we have been lucky enough to stay in some rather fancy ones. Really well appointed bathroom. Paris hotels are not famed for their size but all 6ft 3” of me found this perfect. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to fix one small issue I had other hotels can learn from this 100% would stay again plus some really amazing neighbourhood restaurants within a 10 min walk of the hotel, safe area also.
