The check-in staff and staff in general were incredibly friendly and kind! They welcomed us with smiles, jokes, and laughs and made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves were quite dated and old, but clean and did the job for a few nights in Paris. It is decent if you want to stay close to the city for a decent price, but don’t want to stay in the city. The metro is also only 5 minutes walk (although there’s no elevators, just stairs if you have hefty luggage), and it easily gets you to the Eiffel Tower without any changes.

I had privacy concerns. In two occasions the housekeeping personnel opened my room door with my family sleeping. The interior door lock does not prevent to open from the exterior There was mold in the bathroom

very accesible to everything, metro is a 5 min walk, convenient stores is nearby, a lot of choices of places to eat. the hotel itself is ok, one bathroom for 5 people, 2 levels of sleeping area. toiletries provided. the staff is great, Guilles and Mateo

We liked this boutique hotel. Since it was in traditional Parisian style building, the rooms were not big but adequate, and very clean. Great location, close to several different metro stations. There were a lot of crepe restaurants on the same street and a couple of good bakeries close by.

Nice suites in nice area

It was a good hotel in a good neighbourhood. Lot’s of reaturants and countless creperies are situated in walking distance. 3 metro lines are less than 5 mins walk which makes this hotel connected to the downtown / old Paris very well. It was clean, and the clean the suites every day, except before your last night. Which is normal, I think. The staff was helpful and kind. They were willing to speak English which is a big thing in Paris. :-) There are 2 negatives with their suites. The toilet is upstairs. So whoever sleeps dowstairs has to climb a steep staircase to do “their thing”. It is very uncomfortable during the night when you basically cannot even see. Secondly, the heating… If you go there during the winter, the upstairs will be hot as hell, and you’ll freeze downstairs. We weren’t able to set a good balance. We couldn’t sleep in 32 degrees upstairs. But if you bring down the thermostat to 22-24 (which is a nice temperature upstairs) you need to sleep literarly in coats downstairs.

Terrible staff

We had a terrible experience with the reception staff of the hotel. We checked in on the 09th Feb at midnight and were told to pay the balance money. We paid cash and they didnt have change to give us back. The staff gave us in writing we can collect it anytime later from the reception. At the time of leaving we went to ask for it the other staff who was there treated us very badly. Saying your come to take the money back and just flung the paper on the ground. Very rude behavior and started abusing us. We said to him this is not the way to talk to your customer's but he was very arrogant.No politeness at all was seen in the staff.

Overall the hotel is very run down and the rooms unclean. The sheets are not changed even when there are signs that they are dirty. The towels were very old, the miniature fridge was very dirty and had hair inside, dirty clothes from previous customers under the sofa bed. The manager was very rude and opened our room while we were inside and didn’t even explain why. He would yell at staff customers. Not a good experience.

Very small rooms; mold issue in shower area and bottom of bathroom door frame; no fan in bathroom; air conditioner sub-par...it cooled but if you set lower, hot exhaust air came out. Not worth the money.
