A very nice friendly hotel

We found the hotel very comfortable and very convenient for the metro cafes and bars. The staff were terrific so friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Would definitely recommend it.

fabulous location, metro station right outside front of hotel. room very clean but in need of a refurb,decor and carpet looking very tired. shower cubicle didnt close fully leading to bathroom being flooded when used, safe didnt work, reported on day of arrival but not fixed 4 days later when we left. only 2 working plug sockets. bed very comfortable and air conditioning very good. requested a room on a high floor at time of booking due to reading reports of noise from metro, allocated a floor on 1st floor and did find noise of metro distracting late night and early morning. all minor quibbles that didnt spoil a lovely stay in paris

Bed was hard as a rock, with big dip in the middle. No consistent hot water especially in the morning. Hot water would run out after a few minutes. Area was full of protesters, illegal immigrants, and homeless people camped on the sidewalk.

Decent hotel

Decent hotel and a great location. Bathroom was somewhat old-fashioned - likely around 40 years old. Shower nonetheless was good. Some sound transfer from adjoining rooms.

The staff here is incredible. Treated us like family and directed us on where to go for certain things we wanted to see. We brought our 10 month old daughter and had a ton of stuff with us which was challenging with the smaller rooms but we kept our bigger items in the storage room they have right by the front desk on ground floor. 10/10

This property was perfect for my college - age son and me (mom) for spring break. We had 2 twin beds, which was something I really wanted. The bathroom was surprisingly large - tub/shower, sink, toilet, bidet. It was clean, and housekeeping came every day. The République metro stop is literally right in front of the hotel (like on the sidewalk between the hotel and the street), and that was incredibly convenient. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly. We arrived back late the night before our departure, and the gentleman at the desk was genuinely concerned about our plan to get to the airport, no doubt ready to give help or direction. We were all set with a transfer, but his concern was really nice. We didn't really explore the neighborhood much, but it seemed fine. I went to a nice boulangerie around the corner. There were several US fast food restaurants in the square. We didn't go, but it did make it seem like a tourist friendly area. Definitely recommend. Would stay there again. Good value.

An incredible place to stay for a few days in Paris! You’re literally steps away from the subway—right outside the front door—making it super easy to explore the entire city. I didn’t even need to use Uber once because the local transportation was so convenient and simple to navigate. It made getting around Paris a breeze!

Room didn’t have any air conditioning. We were forced to leave the balcony door open every other hour (even while sleeping) to get some fresh air. Room service lady barged into the door twice while my girlfriend was naked. Besides location, I’d avoid this place.

This is an amazing location in an interesting part of the city. The metro station right in front of the building has several useful lines. The staff was great. Breakfast was okay, and there are a lot of other places within a block. Room size was to be expected, but the shower curtain was so short that the bathroom floor regularly had water all over it after a shower because of the power of the shower head. It’s an easy fix, and I don’t understand why the problem even exists. I’d read reviews about the walls being paper thin, which I didn’t experience until my final night there. And then, unfortunately, I felt like I was an unwilling voyeur to a very active couple next door. SO noisy. Certainly not the hotel’s fault, but it was laughably uncomfortable.
