We stayed in the Shinning superior apartment. It was a cute little place, little did we know it came with a little roommate too, a mouse (henceforth named Henri). Henri seemed to move into the apartment a day or so after we arrived. We contacted the hosts about this situation and received no reply. We weren’t even that mad, even though Henri was quite loud at night. We were just hoping for some sort of help. Over our whole stay of 5 nights we didn’t get a single response. Other than this situation the actual apartment was nice, and the location was great. There were no signs of bed bugs in this apartment. Only a little mouse named Henri.

The property itself was clean and cute. Check in instructions were not received and had a hard time getting the codes to the apartment which was frustrating. The walls are thin and you hear everything from other apartments which was frustrating as the apartment above us seemed to be up all night listening to loud music.

This aparthotel had everything my family needed. There were kitchen implements to cook, and a washing machine, which was perfect for the last couple of days of our trip. Whilst tiny, there was enough room and storage for the 3 of us. Being located in the Marais area, there is infinite potential for all cuisines; art and excellent transport links. Cleanliness, overall, was not spot on. The bathroom could do with a refurb, as mould and dirt was built in the tiles of what might have been a nice bathroom at some point in the past. However, there was hot water and the towel heater worked perfectly, so in spite of not having top notch ventilation, the bathroom was functional. Mind travelling with elders, as the staircase to get to the flats is minute, so this might be a hazard for them. Communication from the staff, both on e-mail and on the phone was spot on; polite and friendly. Keep in mind cleaning will only happen at the end of your stay, so if staying for a longer time, you'll need to take our the rubbish yourself. Altogether, it was a pleasant stay, and I'd certainly come back to Les Patios for a longer stay.

Besides the mouse staying in the room with us during our stay, the place was decent. Had all basics needed but I felt the bathroom of the room we stayed in had a bad setup. You have to jump the toilet to go in and it was like 2ftx2ft, tight turning around. We had a nice patio with our room though.

I never saw any employee in 7 days, I was advice that no room attendant will pass by during my stay, and also no towels or bed sheets will be change, I had to maintain clean the room by my self and also the bathroom.

The duplex we stayed in was clean and a good size. The sofa bed was comfortable. The TV worked and WiFi was decent speed. The ceiling for the bedroom was extremely low and the upstairs bedroom was good but really impractical to be able to get to the toilet in the night as you had to either climb over the first bed or exit the bedroom to the main door which required code to get in. There was a mouse in the apartment which we saw droppings of and actually saw the mouse. Only tiny cups which for a cup of English tea was not enough It is lovely and quiet on a nice side street

Facility is clean, in good location but the rooms upstairs were so short which you cannot stand up. It would be difficult to get out if in case an emergency occurs. Otherwise it is a good stay.

Good location opposite excellent Boulangerie and near shops and metro station. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable studio apartment but tiny, nowhere to eat easily and very little natural light coming in. 4 flights of stairs to access. Attractive courtyard and entrance.
