We needed an hotel as a result Of an emergency. Starting with the price in regards to the other hotels around the area, the hotel had a great rate. Additionally, the night time front desk manager was very friendly, bilingual, and welcoming. It was very helpful after having been victims of petty crime. The room was clean and big in comparison to other Paris hotels. The room decor was welcoming and the bathroom toiletries were of excellent quality. The bed and the pillows were also perfect for a good night’s rest. The bathroom has an excellent big shower. The only thing missing in the bathroom is a magnifying mirror. The rooms has a mini bar and the rooms on the 6th floor have a balcony. The lobby shows it’s an older hotel, but very well maintained. AlsoI couldn’t get the USB port in the room to work. However, the room and bathroom have many outlets. Thank you !

Staying at the Normandy Hotel felt like stepping into an old-world Parisian fairytale—complete with charm, comfort, and the kindest hosts. From the moment I arrived, the front desk angels, Carolina and Nathan, made everything seamless. Whether it was arranging taxis or tracking down their exact arrival (because… Paris traffic!), they had it covered with a smile. My room? A cozy, spacious little sanctuary where vintage meets comfort. The bed was a cloud—soft, dreamy, and impossible to leave. Everything was spotless and quietly luxurious, the kind of clean that whispers “relax, you’re taken care of.” And the location—chef’s kiss! I could practically waltz to the Louvre, sip espresso near Palais Royal, or take a moonlit stroll to the Seine. The Normandy wasn’t just a hotel—it was a soft place to land in the heart of Paris. I will stay here again. Very helpful staff. Had an odd request late one night for a bag of ice to help with a bruised toe. Khalid got a bag of ice for us in less than 5 minutes. Everyone at this hotel is helpful and provided helpful information.

Great location, the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and small shops nearby. Our room was the Suite Afterworks which was perfect for 2 adults & 2 kids. Spacious with a very nice bathroom and great shower.

Location, Location, Location. Just steps from Cafés, Restaurants, and Museums. The rooms are spacious, however, we heard noise from streets throughout the night such as police sirens. The hotel appeared to be understaffed and felt as if coming in and out of an apartment building instead of a hotel. I dont think I will return in my next trip to Paris.

The location is excellent, literally one block away from the Louvre Museum. Several options for dining in front of the hotel and a small grocery store as well that came in handy when traveling with small children. So that would be the only reason for to choose this option again. The room (large renovated suite) we stayed was great but still felt overpriced. The service was below average, employees seemed to be unaware of basic hospitality items we see at the average hotel in the US. Old reception area, while charming actually felt run down. Lastly, while spending over U$1,000 a night during high season we had a large and nasty roach in our bathroom and that was disgusting and unacceptable.

Close to the louvre and the metro. Many casual restaurants nearby. My room was large enough and had wonderful A/C, a must with the Paris heat.
